I'd hate to be in the Public Relations department at government contractor Booz Allen Hamilton this weekend. It's not just the fact that Snowden is/was a Booz employee.
Booz Allen Hamilton, Edward Snowden's employer, is one of America's biggest security contractors and a significant part of the constantly revolving door between the US intelligence establishment and the private sector.
The current of director [sic] of national intelligence (DNI), James Clapper, who issued a stinging attack on the intelligence leaks this weekend, is a former Booz Allen executive.
And it's not just that DNI Clapper is an ex-BAH exec and his statement is just a tad embarrassing.
No, let's examine the reported resume of Snowden (dates are estimated):
Raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and later moved to Maryland.
Attended a community college, but never completed his coursework and never graduated from high school.
2003-2004: U.S. Army, discharged after training accident
2005: NSA, Security Guard, University of Maryland.
2006: CIA, IT security.
2007-2009: CIA, diplomatic cover, Switzerland.
2009-2013: NSA Contractor, Dell and later Booz Allen Hamilton.
Salary: around $200,000.
What? Seriously? So a guy who never even graduated from high school (he later reportedly earned a G.E.D.) and started his professional career as a security guard, got hired by a couple of defense contractors and -- at age 29 -- was making $200K a year?
If this story is true, I don't know what's more bizarre: the leak itself or the sheer profligacy of the federal spending machine.
Trotsky had a vision of global communism, to be achieved by first instilling democracy, then to morph into socialism, then to morph into full-blown communism, in a "permanent revolution". This is the model employed by the neo-con RINOs -- a kinder, gentler, incremental approach to communism. See Karl Rove, the Bushes, etc.
Lenin's vision was to instill communism with a militant uprising within Russia, then to spread with similar militant uprisings in other countries (Chicago style community organizing).
Trotsky and Lenin had their tiffs, but Trotsky came back into the fold when Lenin's methods started taking root. Stalin had him whacked in Mexico in 1940, after several failed attempts.
Who gave him the authority to wiretap "nearly everyone in the US including Obama"? What equipment and personal did he have access to?
People are often paid first for their brains, and second for their special skills. He clearly used his brain to develop special skills.
A gentle word of caution - much of this is so broad as to be essentially meaningless, and that is not an accident. Real data about this guy is going to need to be double-sourced at least. There is nobody in it at the moment who doesn’t have a highly sensitive vested interest in precisely what information is to be shared, least of all a company who just got burned talking about the guy who did it, or the agency who hired them to hire him that is now concerned with damage control.
Well yeah, of course. None of my buddies from the old days are calling me, so I have to go with what the MSM and blogosphere tell me.
How did a lowly Specialist/4 (later demoted to E-3) have access to 800,000 “super-secret” cables including those to-and-from Hillary and the like? I had the highest clearance available at the time and I don’t remember reading Cyrus Vance’s, Warren Christopher’s or Al Haig’s cables.

On Jan. 9, the day after the New Hampshire primary, a Stanley contract employee accessed Obama’s records and was fired within days, officials told the Associated Press.
***A second worker, employed by Analysis Corp., looked into Obama’s files on Feb. 21, but was not fired.***

On March 14, another Stanley employee pried into the Democrat’s files and was terminated.
It was not immediately clear why employees at the two firms were treated differently.

Coincidence that these two young men seem so awfully much alike?

Many of his family work for the government too or so he claims.
His first name, not a rank in anything, misspelled or not, was Leiutenant
. He was not a lieutenant in any police force or military organization. He was a small-time identity thief who was using information fed to him by accomplices in the State Department to apply for fraudulent credit cards. He did not work for John Brennan's company and had no connection to the Obama passport snooping case.
Harris had been arrested the month before and was found in possession of 21 credit cards not his own, copies of eight passport applications not his own, and some grass (the excuse for the search). See MPD Officer William A. Smith's complaint. After his arrest, Harris reportedly agreed to cooperate in the investigation. It's likely his accomplices neutralized him for that reason.
When it comes to degreeless dropouts, WHG, III, aka "Trey", or Mr Bill, did considerably better. Without having to flee to Hong Kong, even.
Absolutely.
We'd be better off with this guy, even if he's got six years to be constitutionally eligible.

Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old who leaked information about the NSA’s data surveillance programs, said he had the authority to wiretap even the president’s email if he had a personal email address.

And how was it that in March 2012 he was at Dell as a nobody living in Maryland and in May 2012 he was a senior advisor for the cia in Hawaii of all places?

Maybe you have too much faith in the educational system, Mesta.
I.T. is one area you can prove yourself on the job. He might very well have been worth it.

Hello, Brennan. Your patterns are showing :).
I’ve seen talent move in IT. Leaps do happen, sometimes for good reason. Mostly it’s about prostitution.
If he dropped out of HS he’s either really dumb or really smart, probably the latter.
You have good reason to believe this. The drone that provided the live video of the attack reportedly takes several hours for authorization and preparation for launch. And it wasn't launched from somewhere in Libya.
But the clearance needed for this kind of op. That doesn’t just come out of thin air.
