Obama does not believe in privacy. He does not believe in “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, papers, and effects”.

nothing surprises me any more
How do I find out if they were watching my ideas develop as I typed on Word? Every time I was about to post important new information to my blog I had problems with Word. Like clockwork. And those were the only times I had those problems with Word. Now we find out that they can access Microsoft stuff (like Word) in real time - can observe our typing in real time.
All the stuff we “birthers” said and were told was crazy is now being vindicated. When are people like Greenwald going to realize that we are the ones telling the truth?
In the meanwhile, may I suggest Open Office?
If they have a monitoring program on your computer, it’s unlikely you’d ever know about it using ‘standard’ protection software. It’s also unlikely that the intruder would cause any problems with the running of your system. What’s the point of giving hints to the target?
What’s the harm of giving hints to the target, when they can’t do a stinkin’ thing about it anyway - and when the whole demoralization process is about convincing/reminding them that resistance is futile?
I would love a chance to talk to this whistleblower. I have a lot of questions I could ask based on my experiences, that the reporters would probably never ask.
The troubles they gave me with my computer made it so that Antonio Villagairosa and Alice Travis Germond could escape legal culpability for perjury... Besides the demoralization aspect, there are practical reasons for them to mess with the function of Word. And for crashing computers, etc.
They can do it without leaving any specific tracks, so that those who say what has happened will be unable to prove it and can be ridiculed by the paid and/or volunteer disinformation agents as crazy, paranoid, or self-important. So there is no downside to observing OR interfering with function. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The lack of accountability in all this Big Brother government interference is an assault on the very foundations of our country.
I wonder if this whistleblower could give ideas as to how a person could find out if they were targeted. What records would be left behind, if they monitored an individual’s computer?
