Obamacare’s California rate shock: It’s real, and it might get worse when we know more

I am skeptical of even the smarter writers who have suggested that the California story is good news for health insurance premiums, or proof that Obamacare is already working.

The newly released information from California provides them no basis for making such claims. And although the program’s failure is far from certain, there are already good reasons already to think we’re going to see much higher prices across the board for insurance products with little or no improvement compared to what’s already available

I predict that most people, even those who presently start their medical care at the emergency room, will have worse service and care, not better. The only people who will be better off, or maintain present levels of service. are those who can afford to pay a fortune to avoid any dealings with Obamacare. The rich will have what they already have, great healthcare, and the rest of us will pay more and more for less and less. Even those who don’t pay anything will be wish they had the simple indigent system back.

Kommiefornia's rates are supposed to rise somewhere from 60 to 120 percent. Perfect. That means that civilized states are going to see an increase in californicators coming into their borders.

Please notice the sign on the highway into Oklahoma, "Sorry, we're full. Turn around and go home."
