Media members thinking the Republicans are overplaying their hand with the Internal Revenue Service scandal should pay attention to what happened on NBCs Tonight Show Monday.

You mean gitmo isn’t closed yet and he hasn’t restored our image abroad?
Liberals ... and Conservatives ... Who would have thunk they would know, especially the liberals?
oh, Jay.....the Nation’s Tricentennial will be here before they stop auditing you...
There’s hope for this country yet.
the R party leaders are damned fools if they don’t change the IR code NOW to a simple, non-obtrusive revenue system that cannot be so abused or corrupted
the American people will vote the R’s into office for the next 50 years ... if they’ll just do this now.
and it will do wonders to help turn the downward economic spiral around, too
what say we find a way to wake up the R party “leadership”?

They don't want to change it; they want it to be a complex, obtrusive (and intrusive) system that can be abused and corrupted when they are in power.
Their target should be the tax code. Use the IRs as a symbol of that, don’t make it the primary target.
If they don’t go after the tax code we’ll know for sure which side the Republicans are on. (I’m afraid I already know that).
I heard that last night and immediately said Leno’s tax file just got pulled.
But he followed it up with some comment against conservatives. I don’t remember what it was but I booed it.
NBC=Comcast. A bunch of big big BIG time DemoRats, with ties in particular to Fast Eddie Rendell.
Personally I think Leno is trying to tweak them into firing him so that he can collect a little more $$$$ from them.
i see a massive fight between abc and fox, shortly.
The ridicule has begun, and it is a powerful thing. It’s not only that Leno is saying these things, it’s the audience’s reaction.
I’m not so sure the Democratic Party isn’t in more trouble than either Holder or Obama. The brand is being tarnished beyond repair, IMHO.
My Dem friends don’t want to talk about politics now. They’re obviously embarrassed.
