The Amnesty bill allows 3 misdemeanors or one felony. Is it possible that these people did not look up what possible crimes that could be?
It will allow multiple DUIs, identity fraud, social security fraud and the like. But what about gang membership, terrorist threats or assault?
YES!!!!! Under the bill, all this stuff will be allowed. Lovely.
Fla. Stat. 790.1615 Unlawful throwing, projecting, placing, or discharging of destructive device or bomb that results in injury to another; penalty. (1) A person who perpetrates any unlawful throwing, projecting, placing, or discharging of a destructive device or bomb that results in any bodily harm to a firefighter or any other person, regardless of intent or lack of intent to cause such harm, commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
BTTT!
There are so many laws that contradict themselves or end up helping the criminal. We should get rid of all laws and KISS. Use the 10 Commandments.
Bump
There are really only two crimes... Theft and Murder. Murder is just ‘theft of life’, so basically there is one crime, with levels of severity.
Come ON Freepers......... let’s all help out with the donations, ok? Just a little goes a long way.
Consider this... How many of you read FReeper pages today to catch the hearings?
Please be generous for a terrific Freeper experience every day. Please post notes on your state boards to help out perhaps with a small monthly donation. Let’s help Jim end this Freepathon in a big way! Thanks. That’s all!

The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution guarantees my right to privacy and protects it from arbitrary government intervention - it says, the right of the people to be secure in their persons, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated ...
In its current form, the Gang of Eights comprehensive immigration reform bill would severely impair this sacred right of privacy through its provisions for a national biometric database: the language that would establish a photo tool found on 1,318 of the recently-passed markup version of S. 744.
If established, the database would house a file for every individual who carries a drivers license or equivalent state-issued photo I.D.; the file would contain the persons name, age, Social Security number, along with their photograph.
David Bier of the Competitive Enterprise says this database a national ID system without the card.
The Gang of Eight immigration reform bills photo tool or identity authentication mechanism flies in the face of my Constitutional liberty, and the liberty of my fellow Americans. In no way does the United States Constitution vest the Congress with any power to establish anything of this nature.
Not only is the database alone opposed to my personal freedom, it also creates a pathway to a mandatory National I.D. card - something that I also urge you to oppose now and in the future.
Consider the words of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul: I worry that the Senate is working to consider a series of little-noticed provisions in comprehensive immigration reform that may provide a pathway to a national ID card for all individuals present in the United States - citizens and non-citizens. These draconian ideas would simply give government too much power.
Sen. Paul has committed to work to remove the language for the photo tool from S. 744 and I ask you to do the same.
You are not authorized as a public servant to deprive any American - or group of Americans - of their constitutional rights, regardless of whether or not the Congress may think it wise.
I demand that you defend the Fourth Amendment and amend S. 744 - I am watching your actions.
Respectfully,
