Oh and there were the Buffalo Soldiers during the various Indian wars (immortalized in a recent movie w/actor Danny Glover), there were several black soldiers and sailors present at the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, as well going up to modern times.(maybe those in between, too). George Washington was said to have had the most integrated army up to modern times!
Elephant tears here too. I’m the oldest of four boys and we were already dirt poor when my dad fled the law while I was in high school. I earned a scholarship loan from FSU to study math/science, was drafted, and paid it all back. FAMU is mainly a black diploma mill across town. I learned it cost taxpayers more per student and their default rate was huge because most blacks felt the government owed them. They should be required to FULLY INTEGRATE or fly the Rebel flag since they are a racist relic of the Antebellum South.
The problem is, the law is set up just the reverse of this. I was recently asked to write a letter of recommendation for a Chinese who had entered the country legally on a student visa, finished a graduate degree, then applied for a Green Card. He had to prove that he deserved to stay here, in the sense that he would be making a contribution to the country. Unless he could prove that, he would be sent back home. Just a few days ago I got an email from him saying he'd been approved for a Green Card, but without the support I and others gave him, he'd be on his way back to China now.
You have to understand that our government doesn't want people like him as immigrants. Our government wants the people who sneak across the border illegally, go on welfare, and if granted citizenship, would vote Democrat.
Nah, it’s the Republican’s fault. Messiah can do no wrong.
