The Saudis probably care about themselves, and in fact they put a lot of time and effort into keeping these jihadis under control and monitoring them because they present a threat to the Saudi kingdom. Apparently the Saudis even refused to grant the older brother a visa to go to Mecca last year because of what they knew about him, and they also mentioned this to the US.

The Saudis know they’re better off dealing with a strong, stable US than with the jihadis or a country possibly destabilized or even taken over by jihadis. Obama, on the other hand, either doesn’t know or doesn’t care. Or he’s so stupid he can’t comprehend it - or maybe he’s actively working for the enemy.
