We have enough laws in place and enough amoral social trendiness in place to combat normal marriage and substantial child-bearing. We do not have to remove tax incentives. We also do not need a system guaranteeing a cornucopia of "benefits" such as welfare, food stamps, housing subsidies, medical care and insurance, etc., etc., etc., to be provided primarily to the unmarried who just cannot seem to "remember" who ANY of the baby daddies were. There were soooo many and she forgot to keep a list.
Evening the playing field (evening or providing generosity of the state to subsidize welfare schemes) can thus be pro-homosexual, pro-polygamy, pro-bestiality, pro-incest, and pro-"other" (whatever that may mean). What you subsidize, you get more of and what you penalize you get less of according to the late Jack Kemp and he was right.
No one is "enforcing" righteousness upon any one except insofar as normal conservatives would sensibly use criminal law to sharply punish the murder of innocent unborn infants by "doctors" in the tradition of Dr. Mengele.
No one is "enforcing marriage or child-bearing. The subsidies under the tax code are reflective of national interest in the formation of NORMAL families, the bearing of children and all that is thereby implied. If people CHOOSE not to marry or have children, that is their CHOICE and no one is drafting anyone into marriage or parenthood.
The absolute obsession of libertoonians with all things monetary turns off many of whom I have long been one. In my misspent youth, I was a Libertarian Party state officer. Then the Libertarians responded to Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton not by ridiculing those decisions as obvious judicial power grabs with NO CONSTITUTIONAL BASIS but by becoming enthusiastic backers of baby-killing (55 million to date by surgical abortion alone and counting). Then I grew up and resigned Libertarian Party office. In the state in question, a lot of Libertarians were good guys and gals and I am still welcome at their functions though I live a thousand miles away. Doris Gordon and the late John Walker (both atheists and major libertarian figures) fought the good fight as Libertarians for Life nationally but the Planned Barrenhood mentality and insanity prevailed.
I came to regard the Libertarian Party as hopeless in its cheerleading for baby-killing (and for "freedom" for sexual perversion) and turned to the GOP. I was not alone. The GOP is rapidly turning into a veritable bought and paid for ideological whorehouse (Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Romney, McCain, Lindsay Graham, and soooo many other elitist GOP stooges).
I hope to discuss these issues with the late John Walker in the next life and I pray that God will see him as the relentlessly moral man that he was (against all odds).
NYU is where liberal rich kids go when their grades are too low for an Ivy League school.
i wouldn’t wait, half the population is wiped out before God’s Day. They could very easily not be around to help then.
And they charge you $50,000 a year to send your kid there!
