Campaign calls for ‘deportation’ of hate, not undocumented immigrants

Axel Caballero says efforts to pass an immigration reform bill in recent years have stalled as a result of the anti-immigrant rhetoric and the negative perceptions of undocumented immigrants.

Caballero said that instead of moving forward with a sensible solution to fix the nation’s broken immigration system, there’s been a recent wave of harsh enforcement tactics.

These tactics, he said, have led to a record number of deportations, the separation of families, the exploitation of undocumented workers and the unjust treatment of unauthorized immigrants.

“We’re sick and tired of the anti-immigrant rhetoric,” he told VOXXI. “It’s loud, it’s noisy and it’s really not helping anyone.” Campaign rejects hate against undocumented immigrants

The 33-year-old filmmaker is on a mission to “deport” the negative attitudes and hate some Americans have against undocumented immigrants. He also wants to expose what’s fueling the anti-immigrant sentiment and who is being affected by it.

Caballero plans to do so through an online campaign titled “Deport Hate.”

The campaign, launched this month, consists of a series of documentaries. The first documentary was released last week. It touches on “five ways anti-immigrant hate makes its way into media and policy.”

Caballero said that more importantly, the campaign is meant to change the conversation on immigration and promote a positive dialogue on immigration reform.

“Through ‘Deport Hate,’ we want to influence people to get out of the mentality of hate against immigrants and into the mentality that the future is better with the passage of immigration reform,” he told VOXXI.

When asked about the name of the campaign, Caballero said it came from the idea of wanting to “deport” the hateful and anti-immigrant rhetoric instead of undocumented immigrants.

Let go to mexico and make a film about how and what mexico does to illegals in it's country.How you never see any protest from mexican citizens about illegals being deported from their country.No protests over asking those who appear illegal with law enforcement demnading papers or haul you off to jail for no papers.Guess the mexicans are ok with deporting illegals out of their country.But not ok with same Mexicans being deported out of U.s.All for human rights at that point.

A Dominican Republic native--a convicted criminal--lied his way into the NY legislature using forgery and voter fraud.

By 2008, Castro had already compiled a record of criminal arrests in two states and had lied in court about voter registration fraud inside his own Bronx apartment. And that was before the Dominican Republic native got elected to state office.

Bronx Democratic Party leaders anointed Castro in the to fill a spot on the Democratic primary ballot for the 86th Assembly District. Castro was a former staff member for State Sen. Adriano Espaillat, A Dominican Republic native, and the party bosses were eager to elect a young Dominican politician in the South Bronx, where the Dominican population was growing rapidly. "We knew Nelson had had some legal troubles before, but no one had any idea at first how bad they were," said one leader who participated in Castro's selection.

EXCERPT---Voter fraud was one of ex-Bronx Assemblyman, and Dominican Republic native, Nelson Castro’s tricks for gaining political power. Castro schemed to illegally register dozens of voters in his district who voted to send him to Albany. (NOTE: registering at Castro's adress means they were already register at theor own address. How many times did they vote?) Castro also forged signatures on petitions to earlier seek office as a district leader.

Those revelations are spelled out in a deal Castro signed April 2 in which federal prosecutors agreed not to prosecute those crimes in return for wearing a wire in a probe of his political colleagues.

Castro agreed to resign from the state Assembly, while Bronx prosecutors agreed to drop state perjury charges for lying about the number of people registered to vote from his one-bedroom apartment. Castro got wired and taped cooperation Assemblyman Eric Stevenson promising to introduce legislation for shady businessmen who wanted to open adult day care centers.

Liz do think this is why Department of Homeland Security wants to buy more than 1.5 billion rounds of ammunition in the next four or five years ? The real question is why does the Social Security Dept. need billions of rounds of ammo? From FR..HS is stockpiling almost 1.5 billion rounds, then the National Weather Service and now the Social Security Administration is buying on short notice 174,000 rounds.
