Welcome to the new normal I guess. Still, it’s not the America I grew up in - in so many ways. But really, the military has to patrol the streets?
That’s something I’ll never get used to. The only place that happened was in Communist Countries/Dictatorships that I remember. Even when the weather underground bombed the Pentagon etc. I just don’t remember seeing a bunch of tanks rolling through some major American city.
It pains me deeply to type this. Some 238 years ago, some real Massachusetts tough guys made their stand at Concord Bridge, and fired the shot heard round the world. This week, those Masachusetts were told to “shelter In place.” Does this mean that the Bay Staters have had the Minuteman DNA bred out of them. I lived in MA for four good years and met some fine men who would not have voluntarily given up their freedom to defend themselves.
