How 1960s Radicals Ended Up Teaching Your Kids

How have we come to the point where so many criminals, terrorists and radical leftists from the 1960′s hold so many prominent positions in American academia?

Michael Moynihan of The Daily Beast explains.

How 1960s Radicals Ended Up Teaching Your Kids

Last week, Rutgers University fired its mercurial basketball coach after he was videotaped “shoving, grabbing and throwing balls at players in practice and using gay slurs,” according to ESPN. Under pressure from school administrators, Rutgers’ athletic director, who had previously defended the coach’s behavior, resigned. It was an appropriate response: violent oafs should be fired from their university jobs for violent, oafish behavior.

On the same day ESPN broadcast the Rutgers tape, The New York Post reported that Kathy Boudin, a professor at Columbia University, was named the 2013 Sheinberg Scholar-in-Residence at NYU Law School. In 1984, Boudin, a member of the Weather Underground, a violent, oafish association of upper-class “revolutionaries,” pled guilty to second-degree murder in association with the infamous 1981 Brinks armored car robbery in Nyack, New York. Babbling in the language of anti-racism and anti-imperialism, Boudin assisted in ending the life of three people, including Waverly Brown, the first black police officer on the Nyack police force, and left nine children fatherless. She was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. In 2003, Boudin was released; by 2008 she had landed a coveted teaching position at an Ivy League university....

I was pushing my own personal get out the vote drive for education positions. In the end only about half of those republicans who voted for Romney even bothered to vote for university trustees and directors in Michigan.

The simple fact is that liberals fight every fight and conservatives fight when its convenient.

There is more to it than that.

Our society has an issue with education. Teachers are (supposed to be) special.

The problem is, they have been corrupted. And there is nothing in our perspective to counter that.

That is where we are at the moment.

Not saying what the solution is. But that is the problem.

Liberals have taken over education. Completely.

While conservative leaders were sitting on their collective asses being the smartest people in the room, the left took over everything.

If I was a leftist in 2013, I’d be crushing my cigarettes out on the little people too.

Liberals have taken over education. Completely.

They didn't take over, we gave it to them.

They did exactly as they told us they were going to do while we either chose not to listen or didn’t believe they could get it done. Same effect though...

Now with Obama, they have all been empowered and are running wild through what remains of America

But as he says - We won the election and you didn't. Get over it.

I see a shooting civil war very soon.

10) Free education for all children in public schools.

--The Communist Manifesto (1848)

We let Leftists take our children in the nineteenth century.

Conservatives have had 175 years to wake the hell up.

The school system has been going that way long before the 60’s. My father in the 40’s was saying communist to college professors in the 40’s.

The simple fact is that liberals fight every fight and conservatives fight when its convenient.

Liberals have been taking the constitution and the American culture apart brick by brick since before FDR. They fight for every inch.

Conservatives fight the major encroachments but will give up the little ones. It is a recurring pattern, marxists try for a major grab and conservatives beat them back to a minor grab, and everybody thinks they won the battle.
Looking back after a hundred years it's clear that they have nearly stripped the constitution.

I keep spreading this around in hopes people will figure it out. Its a Michigan Education association voter strategy guide. They know that conservatives don’t turn out the voters for the education positions.

The colleges were teaching from the left during the 1960s, it is one reason that left wing students were so supported, promoted, and magnified by the schools.

The left is like the Gout.

In between flareups, it is destroying the skeleton of the culture and society.

Our family went to see UC Santa Barbara yesterday, since it was on the way during a family trip. In the textbook section of the bookstore, we had a pleasant surprise. Of course there were books about blaxploitation films and gender in the Japanese Genji Tale and such. But on the upside, there was a book by a rabbi about religion and science that was pro-religion, and there was also a book by Phyllis Schafly, of all people.

Anyway, we thought it was pretty cool that not quite all the assigned textbook reading at UCSB was liberal groupthink.

“. I am watching The Masters. ExxonMobile just ran a commercial promoting Common Core.”

You must understand, that corporations by definition, whores. They will do just about anything for money or benefit if legal/they can get away with it. Politics as they are, this position benefits them with the Left, who usually hate them.

While you were sleeping

We were not sleeping.

We conscientiously ignored the small and inconsequential appearing constitutional deviations because of the favors from the Treasury it provided. While Americans who favor a constitutional government turned a blind eye to its deconstruction other Americans who favor more from the Treasury had their eyes wide open.

"The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime, and the punishment of his guilt." John Philpot Curran (1750-1817), Irish lawyer, politician. "The Right of Election of the Lord Mayor of Dublin," speech, 10 July 1790, Dublin.

We had not been vigilance.

Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again. Ronald Reagan
