To be honest morals and morale aren’t that disconnected. People of high morale are usually moral and people of low morale just opposite.
These words are same-root for a reason.
I saw this video for the first time about 5-6 years ago. Every hair stood up on the back of my neck. It became crystal clear to me how we got here, what happened and why it will be near impossible to stop.
I didn't say they had no relation, which is why my list post had the word "directly" in parenthetical commas.
#1 You mentioned evidence of Demoralization above, and I think we’ve all seen it. One need only consider the line at the post office, the indifferent employees, and the fact that self-serve stamp machines are no longer available (I was told they were prone to malfunctions)...then realize that’s where healthcare is headed.
#2 Destabilization — everything coming out of DC these days. Energy is one of so many examples. Rising fuel prices hits every facet of bringing food to our tables, for example. Adding to that, the pipeline is refused, corn is made into fuel, and taxpayer $$ goes into the green energy black hole. The idiocy also feeds into demoralization ... we see it here on FR; we fight it in ourselves.
#3 We are now waiting for The Event to be revealed. Clearly something is up with attempts to disarm us and demonize us while ignoring, refusing to prosecute, and releasing the real bad guys (and so much more).
I am trying to keep a humorous perspective on the nonsense, whistling past the graveyard, and joking that DC is on a “wild rumpus”.
Given the recent 2nd Amendment rush, and the Boston incident, I think that we will see bloodshed before the end of June.
Maybe I am wrong, we shall see.
No kidding.
I think the biggest thing that is needed is the Truth, and by that I mean Jesus; sticking to Him cannot end badly, because the end is Him and He is Good.
