Howard University student to Sen. Rand Paul: ".... You say you want to provide a government that leaves us alone. Quite frankly, I dont want that. I want a government that is going to help me. I want a government that is going to help me fund my college education. I want a government that wont define me by my FAFSA or by my familys income. Im a dollar sign with a heartbeat in this nation. This society is a mirror image of Capitol Hill. Do you, Senator Rand Paul, have a solution to come up with new American values so that the citizens of this nation have a worth of more than dead presidents and Ben Franklin?"

That mentality makes a person about as useful and necessary to society your average tree slug.
What a crowd of fat, lazy cattle Americans have become!!!
Time WAS, if you could hypothetically hand any American a buck and surgically drop him into the busy center of any city on the map and hed get himself back home or AT LEAST avoid becoming the victim of every crook in sight.
NOW
with the same scenario
any one of these spoiled and gullible losers would end up in a gutter or worse... even if you toked them $50!!

This morning, I deliberately went to lefty news sites to read the comments and get a feel for what the libtards are using to discredit Paul. Overwhelmingly, they are countering his remarks about democrats and their racist history by stating that today's republicans have switched places with the democrats.
The only way to deal with these people is with a brick to the head.

So the gov. must fund his education and find him a job.
He seems to think that the money comes from the gov. and not the people. The sense of entitlement is astounding!
Now I’m beginning to see what liberals mean by “your children belong to the community”. If my mamma and daddy can’t afford it, YOU pay for it.

This is why I believe America is finished as we used to know it. Americans are punked, as my young granddaughter told me. She is a college student and often told me she cannot believe what these teachers slip in and the students really believe it. Both my granddaughters are paying their own way in college working jobs that hours and workload is almost impossible.

Well young lady, the best way the gov’t can help you is by staying out of your way, and allowing you the most opportunity possible, to succeed.
If gov’t doesn’t tax or regulate you or your path to prosperity, then there is no limit as to what you might achieve.
BUT, when the gov’t tells you to sit back and relax and they will take care of everything.....then GOVERNMENT HAS MADE A SLAVE OF YOU!

Heads full of mush, as Rush puts it. Listen to the dichotomous reasoning in the following foolishness: "
AI want a government that is going to help me. I want a government that is going to help me fund my college education.
BI want a government that wont define me by my FAFSA or by my familys income."
This young fool on the one hand doesn't want 'his' government to profile him, yet he wants 'his' government to fund his education, etc.. In his magic thinking, perhaps all his needs are to be met by 'his' government, but he is too ignorant (by design, folks; the oligarchs want kids filled full of mush, without the ability to think critically lest they discover they are but tax drones) he is too ignorant to comprehend that government creates no wealth and can only confiscate wealth from others if it is to 'feed from the government teet' dolts like this one for their entire life on earth.

I want a government that is going to help me fund my college education. I want a government that wont define me by my FAFSA or by my familys income. But Honey Child you can only have ONE of those things.
So choose.
Do you want a government who give you someone else's money or do you want not to be defined by your family's income?
BTW Since you are so eager to become a slave I will fund your education. All you have to do is give me 25% of what you earn for the rest of your life.

This guy forgets that when the government gives you things it takes away your freedom. Remember those inalienable rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness those dead Presidents risked their very lives to guarantee? Obviously Harvard intellectuals have never read Hayek's
The Road to Serfdom.
When you expect the government to wipe every tear and right every wrong that government will soon be telling you the "right" way to wipe your rear.

Every American - even black liberal students - will hopefully understand and know that a 1 cent per dollar reduction is reasonable. No... they won't. They're not allowed to think or say anything other than those budget reductions are "racist."

Ahhhh, the naiveté of youth. The poor kid doesn't understand the concept of "absolute power corrupting absolutely". Nor does he have the years of experience watching the government "help" people slide into peasantry. He thinks a government can "lift him" to a higher station. Our Founders were smarter than that. They didn't want a government that picked favorites and lifted them up. They would rather we were all equal and get to where we get under our own unimpeded power. I stand with the Founders. I think Rand Paul does too.

Someone (an ideological elite liberal) texted him that ‘question’. He read it very well. It was a set up hoping to flummox Rand Paul.
I thought Paul handled it very well.
