As I understand Colorado, New York, Connecticut and Illinois is among a minority of primarily liberal states that are moving towards restricting self-defense rights.

Most States are either moving in the other direction, like Texas, Alaska, and Indiana just to name a few or are doing nothing.

All in all I think Obama is losing his war on guns. Washington is the only real threat for most of us right now, and that threat only exist if the house republicans cave.

I got an email notice today from the NRA that the Senate would likely take up the gun bills this week. But, I thought Reid was putting those bills off because he didn't have the votes he needed and they were going to take up immigration bills this week.

I guess starting tomorrow, I'll check CSPAN thorough the day to see what the Senate is doing.

I did order that pin and will wear it when I go somewhere.
