Most of the physicists, engineers, chemists, and mathematicians that I know are conservative. We tend to be the only sane voices at most of the universities. I also know several enviromental mathematicians and none of them believe in global warning. The hard sciences force you to be grounded in reality and prevent us from being liberal. There are however many scientist that sell their souls for grant money.
