Actually, I found the identity of one of the co-sponsors to be very surprising. Congressman Stephen Lynch of South Boston is a labor Democrat who pretended to be pro-life and pro-gun when he ran to replace the late Joe Moakley (who was pro-life but I don’t believe was pro-gun). Lynch’s voting record on social issues has been quite spotty (and certainly more liberal than conservative), but he hasn’t been a moonbat as far as I know. Perhaps now that he’s running in the Democrat primary for the U.S. Senate he is “evolving” into a thinner Ted Kennedy.

Markey’s initial gigantic lead seems to be narrowing.

I guess Lynch’s plan is working. The piece of crap. I hope Markey wins, there’s a chance our candidate could upset him.
