America’s culture is a carbon copy of the wicked culture of Sodom and Gomorrah. The leaders of our nation have sanctioned the very same culture, for which Sodom and Gomorrah paid the ultimate price.
Let’s be clear. Those two ancient cities were NOT destroyed by God because of bad hospitality (inhospitality) . They were destroyed by God for the sin of practicing every kind of vice imaginable—including the practice of homosexuality. The scriptures are exceedingly clear about that.

Uncle Joe was spot on with that assessment. His accuracy is evident all around us today. America is, indeed, collapsing from within.
I ask you: How much farther can America fall before she hits the bottom. Instead, maybe the question ought to be how much farther MUST America fall before she hits the bottom.
No less an authority that the Scriptures tells us flat-out that: “The wages of sin is—death.” (Romans 6:23—The Bible)
There has been a complete moral breakdown in American society. Since the 1960s there has been a spiraling descent of Americans into the depths of hedonistic squalor.
Thomas Huxley once said: “It doesn’t take much of a man to be a Christian, but it takes all there is of him.” In America today Christians are fighting a holding action. We hear often of the war on Christianity. It IS real and no quarter is given by the opponents of Christianity.

I hope many will read it on this Easter Sunday and learn the reason for the resurrection (To bring us back into a relationship with God since the penalty for sin is death).

Reconciling Luther’s anti-semitism.
As we do “good men” owning slaves. Luther’s theology was emerging,and he was a man of his times.
Name me one “good man” who is not also deeply flawed.
I heard this story long ago.
A woman approached a Rabbi with a question.
She asked, “Rabbi, who will be more important in the eyes of the Lord, us or the people of the future”?
The Rabbi puzzled the question for a moment and replied, “The people of the future”.
The woman then asked, “but Rabbi, why the people of the future”?
The Rabbi replied, because we fight satan chained, they will FIGHT him UNCHAINED.
The battle is on and we will be the victors.
God is giving America to third world savages, viz. our enemies. This current "amnesty" is only the beginning.
Thank you for this post. I already posted the following on Lloyd Marcus’ thread yesterday, but believe that it is appropriate for this thread too. I thank you ahead of time for me taking the liberty of reposting it here.
I was talking with a friend about this very subject. [ie, current dark and evil times and the overwhelmingness of it all] It just seems so bleak, and we know of so many caring wonderful Americans who ARE concerned deeply and are feeling helpless even though they may be fighting huge battles in the areas they can reach.
The image of a chemistry experiment occurred to me during the conversation which I found to be very comforting. It was of the titration experiments our chem teacher showed us in high school.
There was a large clear container of water. The teacher had a tiny bottle and told us he would change the color of the water. He dripped and dripped and dripped single drops into the container. It was endless.
Finally, ONE drop went in and the WHOLE CONTAINER CHANGED COLOR! Even though we had been told what to expect, it was still awesome to witness.
People of faith have been admonished that things will change “in the twinkling of any eye,” and it really doesn’t seem possible. But it is.
Each of us who loves freedom and righteouness is pouring into the vat of the world society as many drops of goodness that we are able to muster. I truly believe that we are in a huge “dropper” war, if I may continue the analogy. While it appears we are surrounded by unchanging fluid, the truth is, it is changing at an imperceptible rate known only to the Lord, and at some point, according to His timing, there will be the “twinkling of an eye.”
We are admonished to never fear. The Lord’s chastening* was never meant for His children. However, I think it was Joshua who did urge us to get out of the way for when the miscreation topples. (”Come apart and be a separate and chosen people.”)
Be of good cheer and have HOPE.
The words of Martin Luther truly are the words of a man of Faith in that hour of seeing a Truth from God, and facing the rage and pressures of the Opposition to deny that Truth.
It is my belief that we will ALL have that moment when we must face down the Accuser of the Brethren and realize that come what may, we must stand and still stand....without fear, except for the loving fear of God. For, as Luther indicated so eloquently, there is no other place to go and remain with integrity.

*I have pondered that choice of words since yesterday and think that yes, indeed “chastening” of the Lord IS for his children!(The Lord chastens whom He loves)....what I perhaps would better have said is, “The Lord’s WRATH was never meant for His children.”

Thanks for the post! one thing that does cause chagrin for me is that so few of our good media pundits deal with this issue, like Rush, Hannity—who alludes to it occasionally, but no substance to it-—Levin, etc. we must pay more than lip service to this issue. We WILL fall as a country, not because we’ve become weak, but because we have throw godliness as a virtue out the window, and we have essentially failed to fight the Enemy. When they took the Bible out of schools, we should have flooded into DC and stood on the steps to the SC and demanded they overturn their own decision...then Roe v. Wade, and right on down the line. They saw no resistance, essentially, so they continued on with their evil intents and now America is no longer recognizable! it is WAY past time to repent, but we cannot keep putting the day off. We must do it individually, then corporately in our churches, and then in the streets, even if they threaten our lives! It will come to that, and we need to face that reality, but some of us MUST be willing to give our lives. I have given this a lot of thought, personally. My kids all have young families. Better that I sacrifice, if need be, so they can see their families safely raised.

Sodom and Gomorrah is where the left/libertarians, agreed on morality and culture, and argued over tax and money issues.
Supporters of homosexual “marriage” point to other countries where it is legal and say “see, nothing has happened to them”. Except marriage (heterosexual) is being destroyed, but to the deviants, that’s a small price to pay for their equal rights.
