just have a feeling that Rand saw the problems his dad went through and has polished up.
he got in a state where his seat is safe, just like his father did.
He made a slash and got fame and since then has been sounding like his father since.

If he’s not a republican then stop pretending to be and go and join what is dad should join the libertarian party.

Why is it anyway libertarians never try and infiltrate the left as they have so much more in common with them anyway

Well, you've hit on all the issues that I've come to realize about Rand, i.e. sounding sort of Republican (conservative) with a bit of libertarian slant especially one that TEA Party folk like, just enough anti-establishment red meat to toss to those who either don't vote or register "independent" but don't often grace the voting booth, to generate enthusiasm.

I'm not going to count him out - yet - but Rand's trending toward daddy Ron's total Libertarian bent.

Ron ran as a Libertarian and should have in 2012 rather than taking up space on stage and mugging for the cameras and I'm strongly thinking that Rand is a chip off the old block!
