Hugo Chávez was carried through the streets of Caracas on Wednesday As the Venezuela flag-draped his coffin. Chavez’s state funeral was scheduled for Friday, but Nicolás Maduro, has said that Hugo Chávez’s embalmed body will be permanently displayed in a glass crystal casket so “his people will always have him.”
He also said his body would later to moved from the military museum to his final burial site. The Museum of the Revolution, near the presidential palace where Chávez ruled for 14 years. Chávez cultivated a cult of personality and a loyal band of followers throughout Latin America due in equal to his fiery rhetoric and his generous oil subsidies.
“You will see the commandante. He belongs to you,” Maduro told Venezuelans...

Don’t laugh, the Democrats are planning the same thing for Obama...
We are designed to worship God. When deprived of that opportunity, people will still meet the need to worship - they will just choose unwisely. It is no surprise that those raised away from freedom and basic values would worship petty tyrants like Chavez (or Obama).

The only thing that would make this more pathetically humorous would be for Maduro to change his name to Acero.
Venezuela's rulers will stand on top of his tomb during parades. Watchers will discern from that who's who in the government.

Look at the bright side. Sean Penn and Ollie Stone will still be able to visit and have talks with him. To them he won’t be dead, only resting. I’ll bet their conversations will be illuminating.
