engenders too much “non-dependence” on the state
and makes you dangerous to the Statists.
They PREFER that you are defenseless against criminals.
It makes you more docile.

iberals will say and do just about anything to institute Socialism and Communism. Its not about equality, its about controlling the masses and keeping them under their thumbs. Once people are dependent upon the State to protect them, the govt can extort unlimited money by simply having police be the first to be cut in any budget shortfall.
