I'm not a lawyer but I've read at least once that it's not illegal to use an alias in this country *unless* you do so in an attempt to defraud.Trying to pass himself off as a foreigner in order to gain admission to Columbia may,or may not,constitute fraud but if he did so in order to receive a reduction in tuition/fees/expenses would,I would thing,absolutely represent fraud.So might we be talking one or more state...or perhaps even FEDERAL..felonies here?

All accounts of his early life suggest he was the adopted son of Lolo Soetero with his name legally changed at time of adoption (including new birth cerificate created and filed in Hawaii)

I have adopted twice and each time the child received a new birth certificate naming the new parents and new name

He had to take legal action at age 18 to reclaim his US citizenship- if indeed he ever qualified for it - and to legally change his name to “Barack Hussein Obama”

If he did neither of the above then he committed no fraud claiming to be Indonesian or going by the name “Barack Soetero”

The fraud is now on US for electing him as POTUS
(Maybe wonder why Chief Justice Roberts choked on inauguration #1, swore him in twice each time, once each time in secret, maybe using his true legal name and/or aliases?)

It`s a federal crime to use another name or another SSN to have SS retirement or disability benefits withdrawn from paychecks. It`s called fraud- It is in the SS rules and regulations passed by Congress -also on the SS website
