A Florida high school student wrestled a loaded gun away from another teen on the bus ride home this week and was slapped with a suspension in return.

The 16-year-old Cypress Lake High student in Fort Myers, Fla. told WFTX-TV there was “no doubt” he saved a life after grappling for the loaded .22 caliber revolver being aimed point-blank at another student on Tuesday.

“I think he was really going to shoot him right then and there,” said the suspended student, not identified by WFTX because of safety concerns. “Not taking no pity.”

They are insane and following an agenda that’s been laid out for them.

The agenda was developed decades ago at places like the Frankfort School. But saying they are insane makes them seem less culpable. The are fully cognizant of what they are doing and they like it. They should be dealt with accordingly.

You are calling the Jews of Masada stupid? They chose to kill themselves in order to die as free men and women, vs. spending the rest of their lives consigned to brutal slavery, rape, and whatever depraved act entered the head of whoever eventually bought them. This is not the first case of Jewish women choosing death over being defiled by rape.

Unlike the media-hungry people of today, they could have cared less whether their deed was remembered by mortal humans. That was not their motivation, which was on a far higher plane. Your statement that they were "stupid" is extremely disrespectful to their memory and merely serves to inform any reader that it is YOU who is stupid and YOU who is an insensitive lout.

That sounds almost plausible. But why would the suspension be for only three days? That’s like announcing to the retributive friends when the kid will be ripe for revenge.

Three reasons: First three days is a pretty adequate cooling off time period. Second that is plenty of time to view video tapes, if the bus had cameras, or cell phone recordings that made it on to youtube.

It also gives the school and the police time to do a more formal investigation.

I noticed that the gunman was initially charged with a relatively minor offense. Once they get all the evidence they can bump this up. If they charge him with attempted murder right off the bat and that can't stick the DA is less likely to charge him with the lesser included and he walks on all counts and becomes a hero.

“Another case of IDIOTS being in charge”

Good. Now we need to find out exactly WHO these idiots are and remove them from their jobs with prejudice. What lunacy!

extremely disrespectful

Instead of arguing your point intellectually, you resort to name-calling. Typical liberal. I stand on what I said. Suicide is not a prescribed option and I do not want to put my soul in jeopardy of hell by taking that option. So, in spite of your invective, I respectfully disagree.

Who's a "typical liberal"? Got that phrase stored on one of your keyboard keys? You have simply reinforced my original opinion of you, which is that you are a parrot, not a thinker. I am a conservative, if you ever bothered to read anything I've posted.

The skeletons of the Masada martyrs which have been recovered have been lovingly and respectfully buried near the Roman earth ramp which allowed the invasion of that mountainous sanctuary.

Do not attempt to apply NON-JEWISH laws and NON-JEWISH opinions of what is proper to Jews. Throughout history, capture by non-Jews and the resultant prospect of slavery made suicide an acceptable option according to Jewish law, if the alternative was forcible conversion or being forced to commit immoral sexual acts. There were many such martyrdoms performed by Jews. Hundreds of Jewish youths and maidens jumped overboard to drown from Roman slave ships because they knew they would be forced to perform lewd immoral acts as slaves, and this was in accordance with Jewish law. The Talmud even praises their sacrifice as "saintly". During the Holocaust, Jewish seminary girls also killed themselves rather than be used by the Nazi in immoral acts.

No one was implying forcing any Jew to follow a directive. And, thanks for replying with some points of argument instead of name-calling. If Jews wish to martyr themselves, fine with me. It's a real gray area in regards to how the New Testament God and Jesus might see that, Talmud notwithstanding.

I also can completely understand your point of view about someone disagreeing with you. You have no idea on that one how much we are in an imbalance on what should be done about that. At present, we are not enemies...the enemy is the leftist government types trying to kill both you and me. Might be good to remember that. I do believe the government is attempting to provoke a revolution to give government an opportunity to make an example out of people to frighten everyone else into compliance. It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
