“This is understandable because Judaism and Zionism are by no means the same.”
True
“Indeed they are incompatible and irreconcilable: If one is a good Jew, one cannot be a Zionist; if one is a Zionist, one cannot be a good Jew.”
Absolutely nonsense.
Now, I am a Roman Catholic who joined a Bible Church because our local priest is a bed-wetting communist and an anti-white racist. I don’t have a semitic bone in my 6’10” tall Scot-Irish body, but I do know a fair amount both Judaism and Zionism. As was recently posted here, Orthodox Jewish people fall in four camps on the issue:
1. The NK position espoused by a rare few like yourself and Iranains that Jews need to stay out of Israel until the Messiah apears and re-forms Israel as a kingdom
2. The Jews who believe modern Israel is a fore-runner to the state to be founded by the messiah and thus Israel should be supported
3. The Jews who believe Israel is just a secural state, but needed to protect Jews from persecution and, being their homeland and all, a perfectly logical place.
4. Jews who believe that Israel helps secular Jews become Orthodox Jews simply by gaterthing together.
Now, 2-4 are the the overwhelming majority position of Orthodox Jews. No. 1 is the position of some fringe kooks.
What rabbinical authorty are you relying on for your statement that Judaism and Zionism are incompatable.
