Cruz is quickly becoming my favorite guy in Washington. He’s got the skills to buck the party. Since he is born Canada, he can’t be President, but he can be a force for major change in the Senate.
I like Cruz so far, but let’s wait a while to see if he becomes just another scumbag politician in it for himself.
Seen it WAY too many times.
I also am paying attention to the good Senator from Texas. I also find a resemblance , facially to Sen. Joe McCarthy. Just an observation.
I am very pleased so far with this vote. Cruz was my firrst pick, and a long shot to beat Do-hurst. Now that he is there I hope he stays three or four terms and sticks to his guns.
I continue to be prouder and prouder of my vote for Ted Cruz!!!
I’m with you. Time changes (most) everything. I hope he holds true to what he said he’d do.
Unlike Hussein whose Father was Kenyan and citizen of the British Crown —— Hence, Obummer could not have been President either, Right?
Our kinda guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not mine. He another one of the cowards still unwilling to insist that Obama PROVE he is eligible. Until then, he's just another part of the problem. Talk is cheap.
It doesn't matter where the President was born anymore. Oh! I forgot, Cruz is a Republican. Sorry...I lost my head for a minute.
Thank you Texas, for sending this man to Washington! Now we have to pray he remains immune to the toxic fumes.
I approve of what Cruz has done except for protecting filibusters. I want to get rid of filibusters altogether.
There are a number of reasons, but in the long run it means that past legislative errors can be easily fixed by a new legislature.
IOW, ObamaCare could be ended with simple majorities in Senate and House and having the presidency.
Can one side do mischief if they have the 3 branches. Sure. But it can be undone. As it stands now, the Senate can block anything.
The way to show leadership is to convince others of your beliefs. He has not done that because everything he voted against ended up passing. When he can sway the Republican party to his ideals then I will be impressed until then he is having a pretty easy time.
As to the facial likeness to JRM, I now see it! Thanks for pointing it out. But his likeness otherwise is even more commendable.
I hope your right. We sure could us someone whom truly Represents US!
Mr. Cruz goes to Washington.
Running against Lt. Governor "Dirty" David Dewhurst
It was the nastiest primary ever in Texas. Rick Perry endorsed his Lt. Governor.
Hidden in the middle of the article, the author stated,
“..........maybe it’s time we had more than a few men and women who went to Washington and represented their states and the people who elected them,”
Ya think?
