I’m saying, it’s not inevitable. Arguing that it is inevitable and we must ‘prepare’ to ‘deal with it’ is no different than what Vichy did.
Death is inevitable FRiend. Prepare, and prepare your children. All is inevitable. God looks to each of us, stares deeply into each of us and down on us is the inevitability of which when the time comes it will probably make no difference that which any of us did, or perhaps through our works God defines us and no government can define the children of God. Some will try though. May I be one, for I am one, each of us is one. God is the many. Who will hold the faith and know God’s Will shall be done? Not my will be done, but God’s Will Be Done. God has a means and method for sneaking up on each of us. May God capture all of us ... when that moment comes. Fear not though FRiend, I am a human so I shall fail.
Vichy collaborated with the Nazis. The original poster is not saying we should collaborate, but rather, that "gay marriage" as law of the land is inevitable; just as the Nazi blitzkrieg was inevitable. To take the analogy further: if you are suggesting that "gay marriage" will not be the law of the land, you display a mentality like Hitler in his bunker in the waning days of WWII, in which he ordered his followers to believe that the war was not lost as bombs rained down from above.

Hiding from what the left is embedding into the American culture is probably pretty Vichy unto itself.
I was waiting for a response from you which never came, due to your censure of me, while equating myself and what the author advises with being like the Vichy French is absurd.
What is being advised is neither collaborating with the enemy or accommodating homomarriage in our churches, homes, or wherever else we are told to affirm it, nor is it advising things like voting for Romney, like others did whom you chastise, but instead it is tactically preparing for (”prepare for jail, betrayal by comprising Christians, etc.) what is already being manifest toward those who are not accommodating homomarriage and seems inevitable to increase, even while we fight it. And thus it is preparing us to be more like the French Resistance in dealing with a reality we oppose.
This includes,
1. Teaching children the right view of marriage earlier, as that will be denied.
2. Not letting our love grow cold because iniquity shall abound, but having a Christ-like attitude, but which is not the same as sanction of what the objects of it do.
3. Be prepared to be imprisoned for not accommodating homomarriage but opposing it.
4. Be prepared for betrayal by what can be termed “Vichy Christians:
“This is going to be a sifting time. Some Christians will cave. Prominent preachers will compromise. Famous Christians will distance themselves from believers who have fallen foul of homosexual campaigners. “What’s the point in going to jail? We can still preach the Gospel without ever mentioning homosexuality. We must be wise….etc.” There will be major Judas-type disappointments. The mighty will fall. But many humble unknown Christians will suffer honorably and beautifully and know the blessedness of being persecuted for righteousness sake.”
5. Perhaps prepare a refuge, which would be useful as a base.
6. Preach the gospel, “we need to plead with our family and friends to flee the coming wrath by fleeing to Christ the only savior of sinners – yes even homosexual sinners – that will come to Him for salvation.”
This is hardly accommodating, nor does making making plans to deal with what seems the future will be, without compromising, equate to giving up the fight.
And which i am not doing, but continue to oppose and debate such as promote liberalism.
In the state i reside, homomarriage is here, and 19 states plus the DoC sanction it or provide civil union rights, plus the military, the latter being the largest victory, and one that is hard to turn back.
In summary, believers must continue to fight, but wisdom also reads the signs and plans for resistance in the future without yielding in the present.
And as “we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things,” (Romans 2:2) and that prevalent homosexual relations and promotion of them is a precursor of Divine punishment, then warning souls to flee from the wrath to come and into the refuge provided by repentance unto God and Scriptural evangelical type faith in the Lord Jesus, so as to turn many to righteousness - and being able to do so - is a priority for every true born again believer.
