We the people of these United States need to send every politician past and present a “past due” notice on their 16+ trillion dollar debt and form a CIRS (Citizens Internal Revenue Service) to start seizing their assets.

I once work for an Indian tribe that owned a very large casino. I was negotiating the purchas of over a thousand desktop computers and related software and materials. The tribal elder committee I answered to was impatient and wanted to know why I didn’t just settle with the vendors. I explained that I was trying to get the best terms and price. A besotted old hag on the committee screamed at me that the tribe took in more than a million dollars a day and would never have to worry about money. I explained that if they spent two million dollars a day, it wouldn’t take long to go broke. I looked at twelve sets of uncomprehending eyes. The tribe is practically broke today.

The nation only differs in scale and the fact that the nation can print money.

Jepsen was defeated by Democratic Congressman Tom Harkin in the 1984 Senate election. A major issue in the campaign was Jepsen’s decision to support the sale of AWACS aircraft to Saudi Arabia despite having promised not to. After the vote, Ed Rollins, an aide to President Ronald Reagan, gloated about having forced Jepsen to “look into his political grave.”[1]
