I have some vette brochures that are definitely non-PC.

Cars used to be special and unique. As kids on a trip we would have a contest to see who could recognize the cars. Now they all look the same.

I owned a 1964 Corvette 327/365 HP. V8 with 4 speed.... It would go 65 in low gear, and get up there quite quickly. In 10 years, I put 200K miles on it, and sold it for $300 less than I paid for it (I bought it used in 1968).

My mom bought me my first car in high school ... the 1964 Ford Mustang, stick shift. First year it was out.

I was 15 1/2 with a learner’s permit.

I still only drive shift.
