Nobel Prize winning economist Paul Krugman spoke at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Washington, D.C. last week. During the Q&A session following the lecture, an audience member asked him about the rising national debt.
Earlier in the evening, Krugman had already vocalized his satisfaction at President Obamas apparent lack of concern over the exploding cumulative deficit. However, in a moment of brutal honesty, the esteemed Princeton professor revealed his long term prognosis. According to the professor,
"Eventually we do have a problem. That the population is getting older, health care costs are rising
there is this question of how were going to pay for the programs. The year 2025, the year 2030, something is going to have to give
.
. Were going to need more revenue
Surely it will require some sort of middle class taxes as well.. We wont be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes
on the middle class, maybe a value added tax
And were also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits . So the snarky version
which I shouldnt even say because it will get me in trouble is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this...."

You know this will be implemented gradually. Get the low information 0bama lemmings to accept "Dr assisted suicide". Get everyone convinced that it's better for the old people anyway. Finally it becomes a law because of severe costs.
The dirty little secret is that the "elites" cheering this on, the Krugmans, the 0bamas , the Kennedys, the Clintons et al. will not be subjected to this. They'll be a 2 tiered medical system, one for all those who are connected and have some means, and the other for the rest of us. It happens in the UK and Canada and it's coming here.
He advocates death panels in a synagogue...talking to Jews?
Let Krugman be the first to march willingly into the gas chamber, to be refused care that would save his life.
Before too long, even young people who have recurring heart problems, cancer, etc, will be sent down the path of pallative non-care much like Britain. What can now prolong life for even serious illness will only be given in the future to the rich and politician classes who have exempted themselves from the obamination.
They are all National Socialist Democrats after the German model.

Of course she was right.
Each day we move closer and closer to a 1776 moment.

She was right, but theyll never admit that.
People need to remember that sales taxes don’t have to peak at 100 percent.

However, in a moment of brutal honesty, the esteemed Princeton professor revealed his long term prognosis.IOW, to cut the deficit, we need more spending overall and more taxes, but less spending on such open-ended things as health care for those who have been paying for it the longest.
