Discredited political consultant, blathering TV talking head, and big-bux fundraiser/PAC-man Karl Rove was once hailed by George W Bush as 'The Architect' in the wake of the 2004 campaign victory he had engineered. In retrospect, we'd probably have been better off in the long-term letting John Kerry try and deal with the earthshaking real estate collapse his Dems' own affirmative-action housing initiatives were soon to bring us.
Instead, Rove -as White House Senior Adviser and Deputy Chief-of-Staff- resided over a Bush 2nd-term popularity dive so steep and so politically damaging to the GOP brand that the United States seems to have shifted sharply to the left for about 7 years now- and with a desperately needed cyclical correction still nowhere-in-sight.
So what good has Karl Rove done since he helped drive the entire Republican Party into a wall?
While he sure knew how to show his blobular face on Fox to take credit for the 'unsophisticated' TEA Party's wave of 2010 victories, deep inside Rove had to resent this growing grassroots threat to his (and the entire GOP establishment's) centralized power structure and 'deal making' ability.
Fast-forward to disastrous 2012: lacking any speck of humility or honest self-assessment following the defeat of not just the lame presidential candidate Rove helped shove down our throats but also losses by 67% of the Republicans (10/12 Senate races, 4/9 House) his SuperPacs spent over $1 BILLION supporting, the doughboy has now pivoted from all that harsh reality to declare war on the TEA Party- all I have to say is 'bring it on, you fat f#@$%!'.
Since Mr Rove is politically unprincipled and displays zero core beliefs, he's apparently just out to extend a lucrative career giving bad advice and losing vital GOP races- Karl Rove's in it for
Karl Rove, and that's just about all there is to it.
His new RINO offensive will be operating under the misnomer 'Conservative Victory Project', the sinister agenda being not only protection of pliable Gee Oh Pee officeholders from primary challenges on the right, BUT ALSO systematic targeting of sitting congressional Republicans 'of the TEA Party variety'.
In a desperate bid to regain lost relevency, Karl Rove's launching a war for control of the Republican party, no less- but with his crap record, who in the HELL does this guy think he is spending BIG money to crush constitutional conservatives... the only people in this country even attempting to pull us back from the precipice? The only ones depressed-and-demoralized conservative voters would bother to get-up and go to the polls for?
Perhaps Fox News' decision to drastically reduce Rove's presence on the network has got him paranoid, thinking he's being made a scapegoat- but most thinking people can see this long-overrated character really hasn't got it anymore -all you have to do is look at the results.
When one of the most culpable GOP establishment figures starts pointing his finger at the grass-roots heart of the party, you have to wonder if the guy even believes in democracy- and whether 'Republican' betters like Rove ought to be selecting the Party apparatchiks we conservatives get to take-or-leave on yet another hold-your-nose Election Day.
As disappointing as last year's election cycle was, TEA Party patriots' fiscal -and other- dire concerns are sure to be validated by history- and the Roves of the world proven DEAD wrong. The only questions we've had for some time now is 'how long will it take' for a majority of Americans to see the light... and 'will there be anything left' in the wake of the radical and deeply-damaging Obama era.
In the meantime, self-serving losers like Karl Rove have GOT to go- there's plenty of fresh talent around to tap -he's done nothing but damage to the right for almost a decade now- and HE -Karl Rove- has already declared war on us, it's not like he's left you a choice or anything...

Did you see Rove’s WSJ article which was posted here yesterday? It started off with, “Demography isn’t destiny.” Once I stopped laughing, I read on through the BS bloviating and found this:
....”the GOP earned 44% of Hispanic votes in 2004 and can do so again with the right policies....”
Hmmm....whatever could he mean?

we are forgetting Reagan’s 11th commandment. It’s not about ideology, it’s about credibility. When you nominate people like Angle and O’Donnell, you give away seats.

For years I bought into the characterization of Rove as a ‘magnificent bastard’.
When he appeared on talk shows, he would be introduced as the brains behind the president...the architect...a king maker.
He would smile smugly and accept the platitudes that made his employer and our president look the fool...the very man who gave him his job and who brought him into the national scene.
Not once did he ever show humility or graditude towards the president for his good fortune.
He just basked in the glory of his self importance.
The very definition of an ingrate.

In the 2012 election, 50% of Catholics voted communist; 48% voted against the communist. That's only a slight improvement from 2008, when 54% of Catholics voted communist.
Even the 30% of White Prot/Other Christian who voted communist makes that grouping a 30% waste of human potential.
You're going to need to find a more reasonable set of labels among which to divide us.
Rubio is a slick talker, but he is NOT a conservative. If so, just what is it he would be conserving? "Conservative" means "conserving" the US Constitution and our constitutionsl republic.
Legalizing 40 Million or 50 Million illegals, and providing them a pathway to citizenship so they can vote communist, is not "conserving" our republic.
Rubio running for president, while not being a Natural Born Citizen, would just be another very large nail in our coffin.

Rove isn’t the only one. Romney was for government health care, abortion, gun control, and all the other items the enemy supports. It is about time we stop fooling ourself about most of the GOP.

Let me narrow this down just a little more to help you.
You're going to need to find a more reasonable set of labels among which to divide us.
100% of conservatives voted against the communist, muslim, homo, Kenyan pissant, hoping to keep the republic alive just a short while longer. However imperfect the opposition candidate was, any real "conservative" would have recognized the disaster of continuing this administration.
Anyone who did not vote for the opposition candidate, voted to NOT conserve the republic, therefore if they are calling themselves "conservative", they are misusing the label.
That is your starting point. Religious flavors are not relevant to the question of "conserving" or "not conserving" the constitutional republic.

Very observant, Rove has long displayed such character flaws for all to see

Those two are representative of the majority of TEA Party candidates, not at all- and it wasn’t Angle or O’Donnell’s TEA Party political stance, it was their lack of political skill that cost us a seat
To: Homer1
O’Donnell was a solid conservative who would never have done as much damage to the Republic as Chris Coons has done as Senator.
We rejected Rove’s hand picked candidate for that Senate seat when we turned out the liberal RINO squish Mike Castle, who was a solid vote for Cap and Trade.
Rove went to war on O’Donell as did the rest of the northern DE GOP elite.
Just like he did to Akin.
One thing about the Dems, they never turn on their own. witness the pedlophile Menedez, while our Larry .craig taps his toes and gets run out of town on a rail.
Rove is a parasite, eating the host from within. The 2000 election was a disaster, and we won 2004 only by 12,000 votes in Ohio. The 2006 midterms were a disaster, which set the Dems up for winning 2008, which gave us Obamacare.
The only reason Boehner, Rove and the GOP even had a job after the 2010 midterms is because of the Tea Party, a heroic feat for which we needed to be punished mightily.
Rove is a massive failure, as proven by the 2012 election. He could not even speak against the vote fraud that now will give the Dems a solid shot to getting the House in 2014.
He could only do worse if he was an agent for then.d,es, and maybe he is.

agree 100% that it was the lack of political skill that cost us seats. We’d all like ideological candidates, but putting an unskilled neophyte out there is not going to help

Rubio is *not* solid, but he is better than many. However, Rubio is NOT the focus of this post. Karl Rove is. And if you are calling for party unity under ROVE, then you are the problem.

There is no need to be so ugly if we dont agree with someone, especially those who arent against us. Rove said he was against us. Time to get ugly on his fatass.
