To: Focault's Pendulum

The only thing I can figure for aiming so low is,,,Station 1, trying to hit the clay as soon as it emerges from the Low House. Certainly not a “Doubles” shot. I will admit to doing that occasionally, if I’d had way too much coffee that morning! Certainly not the traditional method, but some days I felt very “fast!”

Don’t you think that in order to give the best representation of an activity, the photographer/editor would have chosen an image that properly represented a typical shot, rather than an atypical one? Every skeet shooting shot I’ve ever seen in pictures and on TV has the shooter shooting into the air at a much higher angle, maybe 300 degrees and up. Obviously a set-up by people who’ve never shot skeet.
