Beware of any requirement designed to determine your mental health if you have no previous record of mental health problems. Determining one’s mental health to purchase or own a firearm would depend upon your answers to a list of questions formulated by the government.
The spiritual and political mindset of those formulating the questions would be strictly subjective.
If your answers would be of like-mind, spiritually, socially, and politically with the examiner who formulated the questions, then you would pass. Otherwise, you could be declared ‘unfit’ to own a gun and be ordered to turn over to the government any gun you may already have.
How would you answer these Questions:
•Are you a Christian?
•Do you consider non-Christians a threat to the First Amendment right to freedom of worship and speech?
•Do you believe Muslims in America should be permitted to enforce Sharia Law rather than abiding by America’s laws?
•Do you favor same-sex marriage?
•Do you believe the Constitution should be interpreted in keeping with the modern-day culture?
•Do you believe global warming is caused by greenhouse gases?
•Do you believe Americans should be bound by United Nations resolutions and treaties?
•Do you believe a woman’s right to abortion supercedes the unborn child’s right to life?
•Do you agree that women should serve in front-line combat alongside men?
•Do you believe America should welcome those who cross our borders illegally?(continued)

A year or so ago I was given a brief quiz as part of an “access to minors” and “human experimentation” process.
Part of it was that I had to describe and define certain words. All seemed innocuous except one, “diversity”. The interviewer was watching my face. I did reply “a mix of races,and abilities with social inclusiveness”, passing the requirement, but I was thinking “variety”. The look on the interviewer’s face made it clear that that was the “correct” mode of thought.
Exect more, and more subtle, to keep your paper punch.
We talking the same gooberment that has the drug problem under control and the gangs in complete check?? Why would any SANE person give any information to the statists and their lackeys??
Pretty much all of those Q’s are political questions that any half-competent lawyer could show have nothing to do with “mental health”. But then, I put nothing past Zero and his corrupt, evil minions.

1) You must pass a Mental Health and IQ Test to become a Valid Voter.*
2) You must pass a Mental Health and IQ Test created by Qualified Voters to qualify for candidacy for elected and appointed office.**
3) Use of illegal drugs disqualifies you for life to become a Qualified Voter, or to qualify for elected or appointed office.
I don't expect that to happen any time soon.
* No more allowing the feeble-minded or the insane to be taken to the polls and directed on whom to vote for my ANYONE. The must intellectually be able to vote for themselves or they don't vote.
** The bar can be set low, but not so low as to make it possible to allow insane, non-sensical or irrational statements, in or out of office.
That would pretty much describe “mental health” in the Soviet Union. Yuri Andropov, when head of the KGB, used the psychiatric profession to enforce political orthodoxy. Any dissident was considered “insane”.
