Too bad we don’t have a Joe McCarthy today! I'll repeat the gist of what I posted here a few months ago and later was told that it appeared on some leftist websites.
Here are a few terms meant as to derisive that, anymore, I consider to be badges of honor:

- homophobe
- McCarthyite
- islamophobe
- racist
- gun nut
- redneck
- Bible thumper
Uncharacteristically for me, since I considered him a servant of Satan, I'll quote from Franklin Diablo Roosevelt (the worst president of my lifetime, paving the way for the likes of Obama) and use FDR's words against him:
They are unanimous in their hate for me and I welcome their hatred. Liberals have so fouled political discourse that their words of enmity I now embrace.
