We’ve got to have better mental health screening to keep people like this away from mass transit.

Mass transit would be okay were it not infested with “disadvantaged” thugs acting like the occupants of a zoo’s monkey house. I came, I saw, I left.

This is old news. The police had a good reason to keep it secret. He was wearing a distinguishing jacket and the police did not want to reveal the video or anything else. A few days later they caught the guy, still wearing the same jacket.
Police do this all the time. Where I live the police will say there are no leads or suspects when they know who did something. They want the criminal to feel he or she is in the clear. Then the cops nail them.

"The police had a good reason to keep it secret. He was wearing a distinguishing jacket and the police did not want to reveal ".....The police didn't have to reveal what the perp looked like or what he was wearing. The writer said the police kept the crime covered up.
A detective told me once that local newspapers didn't report attacks or kidnappings that happened a our shopping malls because the malls advertised a lot in those papers, I think the same applies here...
