Life imitates art… Liberals see the world as they imagine it is, not how it actually is

I’ve always been a fan of Van Gogh’s paintings. I similarly like Renior, and Seurat. Although I like some of Picasso’s early work, most of it I find a bit odd. My favorite artist however is William Adolphe Bouguereau, a 19th century French artist whose works are the polar opposite of the impressionists, literally.

From the 1870s his realistic portrayal of the human form was increasingly seen as passé in an art world increasingly captivated by Impressionism – a style which influenced both Van Gogh and Seurat. By the early 20th century Bouguereau’s work had completely fallen out of favor among cultured art devotees, – i.e. everyone except those uncivilized Americans.

Impressionist art was less precise than that of Bouguereau and most artists who came before him. It began a march that has brought us a century of modern art that is often anything but precise… Think Jackson Pollack or Christo.

A challenge of art is that what the artist is trying to convey (if anything) is often up for debate. Take any three people and ask them what is the artist’s intent behind one of Alexander Calder’s mobiles and you’ll no doubt you’ll get three completely different ideas.

Such lack of clarity works well in the subjective world of art. Not so much in the not so subjective world of politics and government. It is perhaps no surprise then that the rise of modern liberalism has evolved over a similar timeline and path as modern art.

Politicians on the left no longer look to objective facts to define the world around them. Rather, they look at the world as they would like it to be and interpret it accordingly. How else could one explain the lunacy that pervades the Democrat party today?

Data clearly show that stricter gun laws lead to more crime but that is of no consequence. President Obama and the rest of the progressives who want to pass gun laws that will magically make the world a safer place... as if there were no knives, swords, cars or anything else that might ever be used as a weapon.

Maybe they forgot about Prohibition? It doesn’t take much looking to see the negative consequences of that. Not only did it not work, but it created a paradise for gangsters to grow rich and powerful. Fast forward 80 years and while smoking is not illegal, per se, many states are trying to tax it out of existence… while simultaneously padding the tattered state coffers at the same time. Surprise… it’s not quite working out the way they had planned. High cigarette locales are seeing their sin tax base actually decline as as much as 60% of the cigarettes sold in their states are illegal. Indeed, even in the face of such failure Chicago is planning on doubling down on its bad bet.

Then there are government schools. Could there be a more crystal clear example of government failure on the planet than public schools? Yet somehow the union backed Democrats continue to fight vouchers and school reform despite the physical and intellectual carnage government schools have wrought on American children.

I find it interesting that any liberal argument for legalizing drugs is not done on an idealogical basis for freedom but as a vehicle for more taxes to fund their overbloated and jeopordized welfare state.

The Dada movement rejected logic and reason and embraced and promoted chaos and irrationality-—same as Socialism. Culture—particularly the Arts—was infiltrated by Marxist ideology to destroy the existing morality of the masses. Christianity had to be eliminated—No God allowed in socialism—particularly the most Rational and powerful religion ever “created” by man.

To destroy Western Civilization-—you have to eliminate Christianity which put its stamp on all of the Culture by infusing it with “Reason and Faith”-—and created The Age of Reason and the Renaissance.

You need to destroy Reason—and the idea of Truth (God) to destroy the “thinking” of people. How? You fill the heads of children with half-truths and lies and “emotional” cr*p so they can’t process information—or be “reasonable”. People CAN”T use Reason if their foundation is corrupted and sexualized. It is ALL emotional responses to *every* issue. With emotions—it is easy to control mobs-—the masses. Without Wisdom (intense study of history), there is no true understanding of anything. (Machiavelli stated this and was a history “nut”).

With principled (God-Fearing) individual “thinkers” inside groups—it is impossible to control them. They do NOT accept slavery.

Ayn Rand was not the only person to condemn Postmodernism (Hegel, Marx, Darwin, Nietzsche) as throwing out Reason and Logic (Natural Law Theory) and replacing it with Lies (irrational) based on unnatural assumptions, like all human beings are interchangeable (radical egalitarianism).

(The Dialectical Materialism of Marx can be easily proven a “Big Lie”. Equality removes the quality which makes human beings “unique” —”different” which is the Christian claim....—Marxism removes the ability (freedom) to pursue excellence (Virtue).)

Same Bolshevik people—(funny how both movements were financed and created by atheist Jews)—and both movements were designed to demoralize and create chaos among the masses and destroy Christian Ethics— designed to control and influence the “thinking” of the next generation—to destroy Truth and Beauty and Excellence-—by promoting the Vulgar, Debased and Evil (same as Weimar Republic) which divides and destroy all relationships-—so that there is division—which makes it ripe for totalitarianism.

Destroy Virtue and there can be no Freedom-—no Civil Society-—known since Socrates. Since Socrates, it was always thought that the only reason for education was to habituate and teach “Virtue”. (Justice, Wisdom, Courage, Temperance were the Cardinal Virtues thought to be important to instill in the culture). Without this Virtue (Excellence), society would collapse. Jesus was the “Excellence” to aspire to which led to the greatest minds on earth and the greatest freedoms because it led to the greatest Virtue. Christian “culture” was the basis of great freedom and discoveries which can not exist in totalitarianism. Freedom is necessary for information and creativity.

Machiavelli stated that “Virtue” was particularly necessary in the military. Note how Virtue is no longer promoted like it was in Patton’s day. Now Vice is not only promoted, our military is required to “respect” the vile debasing behavior which eliminates Christian Ethics.

The Cultural Marxists are implementing their Hegelian dialectics in our classrooms to destroy the minds of our children-—since John Dewey (l930 and his Moral Relativism)-—led to the Sexual “Revolution” in the 60’s which is not over-——we are reaping its effect and its aim of totalitarianism.

All our institutions in the US have been taken over by Marxists. We need to get back the minds of our children-—and then, get back local control and orthodox Christian Ethics. Nothing else has proven “successful” in all of history.
