But you're going to have to live with it, one way or another. If we had a real Attorney General and President, you could look to the federal government for some help, with the lawsuits at least, but with what we have, you're SOL as far as that goes.
Ironic, as I type this, The Won is being re-immaculated.
Excuse me while I go hurl/barf/toss my cookes, etc, etc.

It punishes possession that was legal at the time that the purchase was made. While it may not be a bill of attainder (punishment for treason); it would be a bill of pains and punishments.
There are so many levels on which this “law” is unconstitutional that, if the SCOTUS would somehow find it constitutional, then there is no freedom, no liberty, no Constitution. We will be right back where we started in 1775, only with a dictator instead of a king.
There is no “standard single stack 9mm” per se.
Methinks the 7 limit is really a hit on the M1 Garand. While the AR15 is the quintessential modern militia firearm (full auto issues aside), the M1 is the definitive American battle rifle of US history - a fact which modern Leftist simply cannot abide. It has no characteristics which render it scary or objectionable, no black plastic or pistol grip or flash hider or unlimited size magazine. It doesn’t even hold 10 rounds. So to destroy any semblance of legal military weapons, including the most mundane battle rifle which would never be used in a random crime, the only option was to prohibit 8 round clips.
I thought the cops and pols bodyguards had full on select fire weapons.
Thanks for the pings, gentlemen. Much appreciated.
This might be my favorite commentary you have written Matt. Excellent explanation of the way the elites are dividing themselves from us.

I think they can if they want, but most don’t. Even SWAT Teams train semi-auto.

I’ve read that ten round mags are OK, just don’t load them with more than 7 rounds. There will be officers of the magazine police out and about travelling the state checking magazines for how many bullets are in them.
Over 7 rounds and you have a misdemeanor.
Satire mixed with truth.
Is that real?
Nice one Matthew.
