Here's the encapsulated version.

I was overjoyed to see the Patriots miss the SB.

The media was already annointing Brady as another Montana.

No SB wins since Spygate was exposed.

It’s time we stop giving these tax money grubbing bums a pass.

The video reeks of unbridled obloquy.

If Brady is the greatest quarterback in the history of the game, why does he lose so many big games, lately? Montana didn't do that. :)

Regardless, this Patriots team is not the equal of the ones a few years back. The result is not particularly surprising.

I don’t like the Pats, but this “sportscast” was poorly done.

Ridiculous. Brady may not have played his finest game but the major reason they lost to the Ravens was sitting up in the Patriots sky box. Had Gronk played and been in perfect health Brady would have completed every 3 and 5 in the game. The Ravens would have had to play a completely different linebacker setup to handle him the entire game. The first half was even and the Pats came out at the start of the 2nd half and marched right down the field to score. After that Flacco took over. They played well and deserved to win,...but Gronk alone would have beaten them. You can’t discount the impact of the current greatest tight end in football being out!

The NFL wanted the Brothers at the SB for more money and viewers, my take.

Great point. The Ravens had no injuries except: Reid at left tackle, both starting corners, and Lewis, Ngata and Suggs who’ve played hurt all year. BTW, did the Patriots beat the Ravens earlier in the year when they had Gronk?

If the league was picking and choosing they had the opportunity to do that last year when both teams made the conference finals. Added benefit of putting that fix in last year is the two had met on Thanksgiving in the regular season, so you get the whole re-match angle. Meanwhile out in non-conspiracy reality the winning teams stumbled early but got it together and played better over the course of the game. Talib’s injury really cost the Pats, early in the season without him their secondary was terrible, then they got him and he elevated the secondary to OK, then he got hurt Sunday. Having a terrible secondary against a mad bomber QB has certain highly predictable results.
