Where is the "Great" Bobby Jindal?

Posted on 01/20/2013 8:25:06 AM PST by Terry L Smith

Since the uproar from the Sandy hook school shootings, to the "Edicts Ex Cathedra" from the purported self-crowned ala Napoleon king, President Obama, we here in Louisiana have not heard one word from our supposed Governor, Piyush "Bobby" Jindal!

If you were to search the media accolades, they have endeared themselves to this fine outstanding anchor baby example of Americana.

From the same man that extolled the virtues of change within the Republican Party, after the 2012 election, where is he standing now, when other States are standing up for the Second Amendment rights of their citizens?

Why is he so silent? Would he not jump at the chance to kick-start his ideas of higher office, by speaking, now?

As a citizen within the State of Louisiana, it is disheartening to have a silent governor, when the monster of federal government is over-stepping the State of Louisiana's Tenth Amendment rights.

It's interesting how those who don't like Jindal - which is a group consisting mostly of liberals but also some conservatives - will go out of their way to emphasize his birth name of Piyush. Liberals will of course trash their stated principles in a second to attack any black/woman/immigrant who dares to be conservative. And conservatives who would probably criticize Jindal for not doing more to assimilate if he kept his birth name have no qualms about calling out his birth name if they don't happen to like the man.

Personally, I think his SOTU response several years ago showed Jindal lacks the charisma and star power needed to be president these days. But he seems to be a very smart and capable administrator who mostly governs following conservative principles. The conservative side needs more like him, not mindless attacks on immigrant conservatives - the recently lost presidential election shows how badly the GOP is already screwing up with immigrants, who tend to be more conservative than most Americans with first names that aren't Piyush.

Notice also he hasn’t responded even though he has been proven wrong through several links and sources. Just wants to try to get his google search result trashing Jindal in and try to cause concern. Typical.

There were more qualified people, than he, but when you get the nod from a convicted governor, while that governor is Club Fed, it really doesn’t matter too much.

I do NOT, and HAVE NOT used ‘google’, since its inception in 1998, because I knew what their design plans were, when they sold their services to the federal government. It is one more electronic comglomerate, edging on a monopoly.

I did not see anything of his actions, or words, reported in the regional Gannett/Obama fishwrap since the CT school shootings. In fact, in the regional fishwrap, there have been no reports of any knee-jerk legislation coming forth from the State Legislature, as well.

I can appreciate facts all day long!

When I choose to speak or write ill of someone’s actions, or inactions, I have done my homework, first! It’s called backing up your story.

Now, if you ever were to go to a Louisiana website, which also does NOT have anything to report from the Governor-at-Large, called “The Dead Pelican”, I am not just ‘bashing’ Piyush. I could go into a long list, but it’s tiring, and boring reading detractors’ tangential argumentative comments.

Yes, i was waiting, for either the radio company that owns all 8 stations in town, to say something, or the regional Gannett fishwrap to report something.

I rarely visit politicians’ websites.

I agree that the people that make less noise often accomplish more, in certain fields.

Politicians are supposed to, by genetics, be boisterous, and when they are not, “What are they hiding?”, i.e., Ray Nagin, former mayor of “The Chocolate City”, I mean New Orleans, or Congressman William Jefferson, with all of his stash cash kept in his refrigerator’s freezer section.

I despise corruption, at all levels, and cannot suffer it to exist. Yet, too, as a rational human being, I always remain hopeful that those that practice it, will find themselves at the 12-step-defined place called ‘bottom’, without any help from me.

“That said, Jindal needs to fall in with Wyoming and Texas and lead the way on legislation that makes it a felony for the feds to enforce new gun decrees from Half&Half that infringe on the 2nd Amendment.”

I agree. That is what is so disturbing. There has been NO MUMBLES of this at all!!!

“this fine outstanding anchor baby example of Americana.

How ignorant about Jindal you must be to make up such an absurd thing.

Jindals parents were highly pursued to come here, and their biggest reason for resisting that pressure was because of her pregnancy, it took efforts and offers to persuade them to come to the US.

Jindal was not the result of some poor illegals coming over to drop a baby on American soil.”

Then, you have substantiated my calling him an anchor baby, which is not just for ‘poor illegal immigrants’, but for those whose journey here was sponsored by corporate America through H1B visas.

Anyone in the media claiming that Piyush Jindal should run for President, must balance their idiotic assertion through the U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1, para. 5. Period.

Has he proposed anti-gun legislation?

No.

Has he proposed abolishing the state income tax?

Yes.

I don't think you have anything to complain about. Your snide and unnecessary comment about "anchor babies" aside.

“Jindal is a genuine conservative whose actions have already proven his philosophy. You, on the other hand, have already proven that you are a liberal wolf in sheep’s clothing attempting to injure the man’s reputation. It won’t work on this blog. We can tell a phony from thousands of miles away.”

Oh my bloody goodness!
(rotflmao)
I am a (watch it now) L-I-B-E-R (he almost got it right)-T-A-R-I-A-N!!!!
Sheep’s clothing, this one says!!! (more rotflmao)
I have run into your lizard brood, from the day that I first got into this mugwump’d (Do you need a Webster’s definition of that word?)state!

Anytime, any kind of elected official is found to be deficient, a teachers’ union pup, or a state workers’ pup, (actually the same thing), just has to come and “grab my kneecap”.

“Blind obedience is a nice thing, until the bullets come whizzing over your head. At which point, the question of longevity begins to outweigh the question of the cause.

The term “anchor baby” means exploiting the law to create a baby anchor, making an effort to create a “baby anchor”.

When a sought out non citizen couple is encouraged to overcome their hesitation to come here, because the couple is going to have a baby, then they are not trying to create a “anchor baby” to beat the system, as a hook into the system, nor do they need one, nor do they benefit from it.

Please do not try and connect Governor Jindal’s name with “anchor baby”.

Why should a woman that has a scholarship to study for her doctorate in nuclear physics at Louisiana State University and is pregnant, not want to accept that scholarship.

As it is, she had to persuade her professor husband for them to make the move, he finally consented when the paid pregnancy leave was furnished. “Though the university health plan denied coverage for the birth (it was ruled a “preexisting condition”), the one-month paid maternity leave was awarded as promised — that was the perk that had tipped the scales for Amar, who’d been hesitant to leave home, having worked his way up through the ranks to the respected position of assistant professor of engineering at Punjab University”.
