I have no assault guns
I have home defensive weapons - such as a pot left by my ex-wife , my irish shillelagh , a breezy kilt , and “chicken legs” that would scare a podiatrist .
I have two bottles of Jameson that I will defend to the death , unless the perp brings cheese and crackers !
I will admit, however , that I have grenade and RPG envy !
“Assault weapon” is a n airy non defined term.
It is on order with “Military style feature” or “High Capacity”
They just change the definition over and over again of what those terms mean.
Always moving the goal posts.
In 1776 a flintlock was a “military style feature”.

The M4 is “select-fire” - one can choose between semi-automatic (single-shot) and “burst-automatic” (3-round bursts with a single trigger pull).
An M2 .50cal machine gun is “full-automatic”

I have a 12 gauge shotgun which holds 6 shells...If I use 00buckshot there are 9 large pellets in each shell I can fire off 54 pellets in about 10 seconds....
The Democrats manufactured the conditions that led to these tragedies, yet NO ONE has held them to account publicly.
I would agree...prescription meds, these trendy violent video games, a fair segment of society that ought to be in a mental facility, and fake back-ground check situations have all contributed to this. But we have had mass shootings/killings going all the way back to the 1780s.
To say that this problem amounts to some required solution....when around 700 people die from blunt object attacks?
Folks seem to jump up and get worried over anything that lasts on CNN for more than 24-hours. I’d even refer to this as “sudden rage”, where you now turn your rage on, and off...as quickly as you flip the TV channel.
