Thanks Navy Patriot. I was not at all meaning any criticism. The progressives play for keeps. That, I suspect, is why only one Congressman, Nathan Deal of Georgia, dared raise the eligibility issue. The White House responded to Deal’s open letter with ethics charges, which no private citizen has the means to fight. Deal resigned and became Governor of Georgia. Politics may turn on the sovereignty rights of states. Our Constitution has been relegated to providing occasional talking points.

I will never forget the justice department's crucifiction of Scooter Libby for exposing Valerie Plame, charges brought after Colin Powell's deputy Richard Armitage confessed to having informed the press of Plame’s CIA involvement. Did Powell, who certainly knew, say anything? Powell is a Holder ally, Obama supporter, and now, Chuck Hagel advocate. Sadly, this dirty business occurred during the G.W. Bush administration, and George refused to grant a complete dismissal of charges, even after all knew Libby was innocent. (There may be some legal limitation, such as the president's limitations that I'm missing - a president may not be able to dismiss charges, but I'll plead ignorance; George should have defended Libby). They got Libby by comparing trivia, about whom no one was certain - where, when, how many times - from Libby and a TV commentator, and nice man but an alcoholic, many of whose memories were a blur, and deciding that Libby had lied.

Our pundits know better, but know the potential for a corrupt government to ruin their lives. Holder would have put Swartz in jail, and possibly, as with Jonathan Pollard, lost the key. We have had spies who released critical defense information, and were caught, released during the time Pollard still sits in prison for passing threat assessments affecting Israel that our military had chosen to keep from our strongest ally in the Middle East. Swartz didn't have the constitution of G. Gordon Liddy, and petty henchmen in Justice knew he was vulnerable. His information was no more threatening than the silly movie Hillary used to excuse withdrawing security for our Ambassador in Libya.

I did chose to respond in particular to your comment about Jewish voters because the fraud of our non-existent verifiable voting system affects every issue. Until more understand that the foundation of our republic has been compromised, it will not be fixed. There are threads dealing with vote fraud, but voting fraud colors every political discussion, and more so when so few grasp that it has been completely co-opted by the left. That is what Acorn is about. That is what Obama is about. That is why Obama’s cadre knew that debate performances were irrelevant. That is why the left knew it didn't need to worry when twenty thousand appeared for Romney rallies when two hundred, mostly union hires, for Obama rallies.

First, dollars to donuts this guy Swartz was a closet homosexual. He was scared to death of going to jail. Everyone knows what happens to queers in jail, besides getting free million dollar sex change operations courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. In The Wall Street Journal report of this anarchist's suicide, his purported "girlfriend" claimed on the morning of his last day alive that they had had a "tickle fight" together in the apartment where they lived. Just like two GIRLS living together might do.

Second, FR is not DU. It's supposed to be a conservative website. Yet the posters here not only are expressing SYMPATHY for this creepy criminal anarchist, they are justifying his violation of the law by stating that the targets of his crimes were less than user friendly. The rule of law is the rule of law. You don't get to pick and choose which laws you want to obey and which you feel are "unfair" or "okay to violate". If you do, you suffer the consequences. Now the GF and others are traipsing around looking for a deep pocket federal agency to sue. If they get their way, and find criminal sympathizing trial lawyers to work the case, WE the taxpayers will end up making the plaintiffs WEALTHY beyond their wildest dreams. Congratulations. Another MIRACLE in the U.S.A. where criminal behavior nets out a windfall profit.

Looks to me like FR has been seriously compromised. Not one poster here has seen this anarchist for what he was. You're all dumping on the prosecution instead. Wake up. What in tarnation is wrong with you all?
