I do think he shot off his mouth, and I would advise him to make sure his brain is engaged before doing so next time. Having said that I'll reluctantly argue for his first and second amendment rights, knowing in advance that sometimes when you close ranks around a person like Yeager, he'll still insist on standing in the middle of the room, schlong in hand, pissing on everybody trying to protect him.

True. I’m thinking that Yeager saw a 15 minute moment of fame opportunity and went for it without thinking through the consequences.
