Amazing, isn't it. You can work all day and actually feel refreshed (mentally), even if you are bone tired. You sleep well, and no matter how much or little, you know you did something.
Pity so many have been brainwashed to think there is no virtue in a hard day's work...and that may be one of the places our society has gone astray.
I never did understand going to a gym to work out--only did once in college, and people were astounded that I didn't know how any of the machines worked. I told them "Thanks, but that was boring."--and never went back. Between working tobacco, construction, baling hay, etc. we always had plenty of 'workout' and we got something done, too.
My case is well documented and so far I’ve had really good Docs.
Thanks for the good wishes.
Well, if I was growing up in subsidized housing with only one parent, money tight, and all the social/peerage issues that can cause when you're a kid, I'd be "sad", too. That's the reason to bust butt and do better, and instead these kids are being medicated.
How in the heck are kids going to learn to cope with day to day living if they aren't allowed to develop coping skills beyond "mother's little helper".
No wonder they are so fouled up when they get older.
My mother lived in NJ at the time and the state of NJ insisted on taking everything that her husband owned and selling it at auction before they would take custody of him. Then they put him in a care center and medicated him into a zombie. He died within six months.
My sister went to visit him once and everyone there was the same way, medicated and tranquilized into zombies.
That was Jersey at that time. Laws change.
That’s why I despised “gym class” in HS.
I’m supposed run around a track for an hour to “get exercise” when after I go home, I’m gonna be cleaning horse stalls, pushing a lawn mower over 2 acres, baling hay, grooming horses, feeding dogs and the livestock and whatever other chores I had on my list?
Our TV got 2 channels, PBS and the local news so there was no reason to stay inside.
I was either running the ridges with my dogs or riding the horse in the woods.
I’d come home drag-@ss tired and happy.
Now I have to create messes just to have something useful to do.
:)
I think we're well beyond the guinea pig stage with these drugs. The globalist pharmaceutical companies who produce these drugs, and the federal officials and politicians who've greased the skids to allow them into circulation, know full well what these drugs are doing to people, but there's far too much money involved for them to care.
That was the ‘90s, do you think that the laws have changed that much?
In their self-created world, they only need to be able to justify their existence within the program parameters they generate and to twist the facts enough to make that whole shootin' match seem justified.
People who have never dealt with them assume they are some sort of experts who have the best possible outcomes for their "clients" in mind, but from what I have seen, they are in it for themselves, and turn off the "caring" when they kill the lights at 4:30.
LOL!
Dear lady, you need more extended family around. Want to borrow some?
