Uh, no. Our rights to defend ourselves are not negotiable. The Second Amendment is not about defending ourselves from common criminals or nutters who go on mass shooting sprees.
It was a tongue in cheek thing. I know that no street hood would turn in their gun. It’s easier for politicians to go after registered guns or guns from law abiding citizens. It’s also the reason our family doesn’t belong to the NRA or any gun organisation because the feds can use the subscription lists to find out who owns guns. Unfortunately all ours were lost in a tragic mishap when our boat was swamped.
