Federal, state, or local. You, the man or woman with the badge, the sworn LEO or FLEA and those who inhabit the many law enforcement niches in between and on all sides. This essay is directed to you, because in the end, how this turmoil about gun control turns out will depend largely upon your decisions and actions over the coming months and years.

I sincerely wish that members of Congress—who may soon be voting on new gun control measures—would read this essay, but I realize that’s a pipe dream, considering the impenetrable bubbles around those exalted entities. So I’ll settle for you, Mr. (or Ms.) Security Agent, since you already gobble up everything on the internet, and I don’t have to seek you out.

A decade ago I wrote the novel Enemies Foreign and Domestic, a tale about how tragic events involving the misuse of firearms can be used by an evil administration to misinform and mold public opinion to support its malign anti-freedom policies.

No, my novel was not predicting “Operation Fast and Furious” a decade before that covert policy of “pursuing gun control under the radar,” (which was President Obama’s explanation to Sarah Brady for his lack of overt political action). That inter-agency gun-walking policy, remember, resulted in the deaths of over four hundred Mexicans and two U.S. federal agents, murdered in an effort to discredit the Second Amendment and lead to more restrictive gun control laws in America. (If Nixon—or any Republican, for that matter—were in office, the intentional bloodbath would be called Murdergate, but today’s collaborating Woodwards and Bernsteins are in on the cover-up.)

The thing is....how do we get this message into the hands of LEO’s and Federal agents around the country?

Why, everyone prints a copy and mails it to their Chief of Police, as I have done.

More enterprising (and talented) souls might learn the home addresses of their town's police force and send them each a copy.

All this can be done anonymously (lest you be arrested forever for "terroristic threats") and gets the point across.

No one person can do it all (short of an expensive full page ad which the MSM would not run, probably), but many of us can inform our own little part of America.

Agree with your assertion that people just don’t think anything so horrible could ever happen here. I believe they are in for the shock of their lives in the near future.

I am still reading comments by freepers here that 1.4 billion rounds of DHS ammo is really nothing to be alarmed about. Its just for practice. One more time; +p critical defense frangibles are not for practice.

I did an FB share on it. At least my LEO and FLEA friends will get a chance to read it. Most of them agree with the sentiment, but I’m concerned about when it comes time to put their pensions where their mouths are.

Actually the full house round is the highest powder charge you can safely use in the weapon. If you practice with these rounds you will develop a flinch. Which actually now that I think about it a bunch of DHS clowns with an eyes closed flinch ain’t such a bad thing. LOL!!

Why? Because you will refuse to take part in gun confiscation raids. Period. End of sentence, end of paragraph.

Don't bet on it. Going by the numerous examples set in other countries (and in this country) The police will only be all to happy to follow any order no matter how unconstitutional. Human nature isn't any different in the USA than it was in Nazi Germany, Turkey, the USSR, Japan, etc. We gun owners will be considered criminals, and the police will be eager to arrest us or kill us for "resisting arrest."

Now I have my own theories about police, that although they don't mind killing someone who is realtively helpless and outnumbered 20:1 by a SWAT team, they really don't like going into a situation where the odds are not overwhelmingly in their favor. The military faces this and assumes a lot higher level of risk than police, and the military is always looking for good people, so the inference is that those who join the police really don't want to take particularly high risks. So if there are large numbers of JBTs killed during confiscation sweeps, then perhaps the rest will suddenly develop blue flue.

As a final thought during the Dinkins semiautomatic rifle gun confiscations there was not a single reported instance of a cop refusing to carry out these unconstitutional orders. In fact I commented on this forum to a self identified NY cop and he stated something to the effect that he would enforce any anti-gun law that was on the books,and the if people had a problem with it take it up with the legislature.

I hear it often, and it’s almost impossible to have anyone imagine that it could indeed happen here.

The mainstream of the left has utter contempt for us, and does hate us enought to kill us or to force absolute compliance. They just know they cannot get away with it. So they attack us, and harrass us, in every way other they can dream up. Bill Ayers openly discussed how killing 25 million would need to happen after they took over America. The ones he felt could not be re-educated.
And now, his boy is in the White House. He has never refuted that, or his earlier terrorist attacks. His wife killed a San Francico Police desk sergeant in a bombing.

Bernadine Dorhn is the same age and general mentality of Obamas mother. Ina very real sense, he sees Bill And Beradine as mommy and daddy after he arrived in Chicago.
So of course they would murder us. Except that they still fear us.

The danger is so obvious that it cannot be seriously refuted. But for some people, convincing them is like convincing some Jews to leave Germany in 1938, or an intellectual to leave Cambodia because the Khmer Rouge were taking over.

I’ve almost become convinced that it’s counterproductive to discuss it with people who think it can’t happen. If they believe that, their denial is so deep, they are deeply invested in being right. So all i’m doing is telling them some things they could use against me later. maybe unwittingly, but still.

If they aren’t people i care about, i think, “have fun on the train ride”. If it’s anyone i care about, i think how i will be better positioned to protect them when it starts going down and they finally get it. Before that time, i treat them as a child. A 4 year old doesn’t get every detail explained that the adults must worry about, and must address well.

I know that sounds cynical, but the other lesson of dictatorships is that people betray friends and family. They do it to settle scares, out of fear, and as a result of masterful techniques used by interrogators. “The Gulag Archipeligo” details it extensively.
And back to Anne Frank. They never found who informed the cops about the hiding place, but it has always been narrowed to 3 people, all people very close to the situation.

We're not. Human nature isn't any different here than any of those places.

One thing you can absolutely count on is that the anti-gunners will never rest. Their goal is "A society where only the police and the military are armed."

The cannot be reasoned with because although they falsely claim to be interested in public safety, their antipathy to an armed populace isn't based on reason or logic. It's based on the worship of the state and anything that reduces the power of the state is viewed as blasphemy.

They cannot be bargained with because they have nothing to bring to their side of the table. Their idea of a bargain is to demand all of your rights, but settle for destroying some of them now and some of them later.

They don't have any fears about the process, because they don't have anything to lose. Their laws don't pass? So what? They'll just try again. They also know that we're too law abiding to do what really needs to be done

They feel no pity for the citizens wanting to protect their families and property from criminals. As far as they're concerned anyone with a gun IS a criminal.

And they NEVER QUIT. They may rest for a time, but like now they NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE

There are only three possible final outcomes

1. They are successful and we are all disarmed and a tyranny that will make the Soviet Union look like utopia will begin
2. We are killed by their beloved police either in resisting arrest or as part of the 25 million non re-educatable later
3. We kill them and their JBTs in large numebrs

There are no other alternatives. Every single one of the alternatives will lead to large scale death. Even #1 if we gave in and turnd in every firearm in the USA, within 20 years the disarmed subjects would be rounded up in ever larger numbers to disappear. Human nature and the nature of governments guarantee it.
