You sound just like a liberal.

Every time the GOP steps in it both feet, more ‘conservatives let the mask slip and run to their aid.

Every single tile. I wonder why that is? It’s almost like they have some kind of rapid response team...but no...the GOP would never do something like that.

Though I’d hate to think actual people did this thinking it was a good idea.

I do not normally support any of those, but realize (as did Reagan) sometimes ground has to be given in order to achieve victory later on.

So killing the occasional baby to achieve your victory is ok.... Got it.

You aren't conservative.

There’s a significant difference between compromising and violating the core principles that define conservatism.

“I do not normally support any of those”

So you have a price. What part of conservative philosophy defines a price on principles?

Eagerly waiting for your answer.

Never underestimate the power of liberal stupidity.

I'm sure some of these on FR are GOP 'useful idiots', that do it for free.

People like you are living in a fantasy world. I live in the real world and realize that it is impossible to elect people with certain political stances in certain parts of the country, or that sometimes we have to compromise for the good of the country (i.e. Reagan during the Cold War and W during the War on Terror). Politics is the art of the possible not the ideal.

I cannot deny. I think many are actual masochists and like the pain.

Cheaper than a night on Freemont St. in Vegas I suppose.

Ok. I live in a fantasy world.

In the real world, I won't support someone that's ok with killing babies to achieve their goals. I won't support someone that is for gun control. I won't support someone that is for socialized medicine.

That's what you GOP liberals are going to have to recognize. You may not like us, or our stances, but we won't support some fundamental things.

I won't vote for your liberals.

So go pound sand, and try to steal liberal support from the dems, since you are right there with 'em.

And where exactly do you draw that line? Give me a list of say ten political stances someone must take in order to be a “true” conservative. I bet you couldn’t get even half the people on this site to agree with you much less the conservative movement in general.

Must be. She’s been railing on the GOP and their BS for well over a year.

Funny that. Of course a bunch of the same names on FR who trashed her are the same ones now excusing the GOP and trashing other conservatives. Not all...but a bunch.

Funny that too. One could almost see a pattern there.

Tell me something, purists: would you have not supported the creation of the U.S. because of many states support of slavery?

What do you care? You are a Republican, not a conservative. It behooves you to keep us fighting.

Oh wait...you are trying to.

Sorry, my bad.

And where exactly do you draw that line?

Supporting someone that's ok with killing babies is right out.

Supporting someone that is willing to support unconstitional acts is also right out.

Supporting someone that wants to take away God-given, 2nd Amendment rights? No way.

You lost our votes when you ran a candidate that was ok with that kind of comprimise.

You are going to have to get over your mad, and accept that.

We're not subject to your control or brow-beating.

What we have here, is a small group of people that can't face up to the reality that they pushed too far, lied once to many times, cheated once too often, and got haughty about it.

Now, they are throwing a tantrum that we aren't playing by their rules.

Far as I'm concerned, they can kiss my.....

Know what? I’m tired of this daily game.

Fact is, every day on sites around the net, more former GOP supporters are leaving the party and saying good riddance.

That is not debatable.

Have a nice night.
