Selco wrote one time that he needed “low light” when he had to go outside during that war and didn't want anyone to know he was outside. That hit me like a brick - every light source I had, and I have plenty, were all brilliant, large light. I fixed that by buying pen lights like doctors/nurses use to check eyes. Got those on Amazon - six for $6.29. They are disposable but each lasts a long time and I wouldn't be using one very often. It's a small amount of light.
You press the clip on it and the light goes on, when you lift your finger off the clip, it goes off. That allows one to go outside and when you need to know where you are, press the clip, check your immediate surroundings and click it off.
There is a clear plastic piece around the pen and if you slide that under the clip, the light stays on.
If you buy them from Amazon, get them from BP Medical. There is another company on there and the description says 6 lights but they only send one. Customer comments were the pits for this company as they couldn't get the company to respond to them, so they are stuck with one light instead of six.
Tabasco sauce: When I began to prep, bottles of Tabasco sauce was bought early on. I don't want bland food and Tabasco sauce is the easy way to avoid that.
