Look at the summary I just posted to Whiskey and see if you think that would work as a script. If not, or if you or others have constructive advice for how to improve it, I’ll have something you could use as a script by morning. As could others, if we’ve got them ready to give their Senators and Rep a call.
I’ll watch for feedback on that summary and adjust it as necessary by morning. I’m too close to the details; I don’t know how virgins to this issue think or hear any more so I need the advice and feedback of people farther away from it. And both null and void and TXnMA can tell you that I am willing to act on constructive advice without taking offense so don’t be afraid to say anything, either on the thread or in Freepmail.
It looks good to me; if anyone can sort of tighten it up so it’s a good letter to congresscritters it will be a great help to me and others who feel themselves unable (I do!) to write such a letter giving a succinct summary of the topic.
