Watched The Dark Knight Rises this past week with a scene at the beginning of the film with gunmen on a rampage slaughtering people on a stock market floor. This is what Hollywood does and excels at. Human life and carnage are what hypocrite activist actors and actresses sell us to maintain their own decadent lifestyles.
An article I read this weekend dealt with the issue of too many hours in films like the Hobbit because that extra time limits the number of people paying to see films (they could fit two 90 minute films in and double their profit).
