Great article! Let’s ban everything...for the children of course!
And semi-automatic forceps.

How would she explain how she wants to take that gun away from her?
Well since that brave young lady with the pink rifle is obviously Latina, I'm sure the gun fearing ditz would figure a convoluted way of playing the race card.

Even the name of this car, Challenger could entice weak-minded wannabe macho men to compesate for their, ahem, “shortcomings” and engage in deadly street races. We must ask ourselves what kind of a people are we to turn a blind eye to such potential carnage. How about other car names, Mustang, Impala, Charger anyone remember the old Buick Wildcats, the Mercury Marauders, LeMans, GTO, Bonneville, Daytona, names that conjure up perceptions of speed and power. FOR THE CHILDREN, We must enact legislation so that no carmaker ever again could use these potenially dangerous names. Hey if Joe Camel could be banned, how ludicrous would this be for the nanny state to pull off.

Even more, the Government Motors continued use of the “SS” logo and the horror it conjures up of Nazi Storm Troopers .....
Oh. Wait.
On second thought (given the recent graduation of the “civilian army”) maybe that’s an OK logo for a government owned and operated corporation.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. But, I’ve always wanted to ask a biker this.
Why is it that you see them always with the outstretched down-low forefinger salute to other bikers they pass? Is this supposed to be cool or something?
Seems to me you guys ‘borrowed’ the move from Corvette owners who actually had/have something that qualified as elitist to greet each other with because of their relative rarity in public.
In the case of motorcycles, the elitism of scarcity just isn’t there. I guess we’ll know that move has ‘jumped the shark’ when you start seeing bicyclists do the same thing.
