Lord Monckton continues to expose the scam known as Anthropogenic Global Warming. The Gorebal Warming crowd just won't give up, despite Climategate I and II exposing their scam.

Gorebal Warming alarmists have still not explained what is causing Gorebal Warming on Jupiter and Mars (as reported by NASA several times now) and why other bodies within the solar system are experiencing global warming and increasing temps.

I guess aliens on those planets have got some really big coal-fired power plants and SUV's warming up those planets and other celestial bodies... /sarcasm.

Monckton is well known by the globull warming circles. Why they didn’t say “howdy, Monckton, you ole denier you” the moment he showed his face is a mystery to me.

It is not as if Lord Monckton’s Marty Feldman-like bulging eyeballs are hard to notice. He is a smart and witty guy.

Have they explained why temperatures were so high 120,000 years ago that sea levels were about 25 feet higher? Where were the folks lamenting about the loss of their native homes (areas being encroached upon by rising sea levels) then?

And have they explained why temperatures were so cold that only 20,000 years ago, so much was wrapped up in ice that sea levels were, according to my info, 350 feet lower than current sea levels? Can they even explain why in the early 1540s, according to accounts of Juan Cabrillo's trip up the continental West Coast, there was SNOW on the mountains along California's Big Sur coast? When's the last time that happened?

Dinosaurs ruled this planet for more than TWICE AS LONG as since they last disappeared 65 million years ago. In that scale, 500 years since snow on Big Sur -- you can even ante it up 20 times that at 10,000 years -- nope, not 100,000 years or even 800,000 years, is a gnat's fart in time in the time context we inhabit. Gore proposes the time/space equivalent of predicting and manipulating a bubble coming to boil in a pot of porridge. The enterprise is hapless.

It's MATH.

Exactly it just another money scheme. One poster said that one can’t ignore that the earth is warming and that the oil companies and coal companies have been lying to everyone. The earth has been warming and cooling long before oil and coal companies ever existed and where in the hell does he think these camel jockeys with table cloths on their heads acquired all of their money from?

Amen to that- I live in Michigan and am extemely grateful for any warming that the sun offers especially in the winter. Last year we were supposed to have a horrible winter - cold and snowy and long... all because of AGW. Turned out to be the shortest of winters and only one major snow and a nice March that gave away to a freeze in April - meanwhile on the other side of the hemisphere, Europe did get a long and crappy winter - that’s were the AGW freaks live, so ha ha! Every winter has been different since I moved back here 7 years ago. What a hoot!

Love that Monckton has the chutzpah to call them out in their own den of iniquity.

Oh, MY!!!!

How dare you bring history and numbers into this!!!!

Actually one model on CO2 increases and so called “global warming” is that it is a very good thing, in that one of the reasons we have had increasing numbers of ice ages in the last 32 million years is that the global CO2 level has been far TOO LOW!!! and had mankind not arrived the earth would likely slowly slip into longer periods of ice ages that would in 20-40 million years or so end with our planet permanently freezing itself so much in a “snowball earth” scenario that the only life would be left in black smokers at the bottom of the ocean floors kinda like what could be existing on the Jovian moon of Europa.

This is because as earth’s core slowly cools there is less volcanism and less volcanism brings less needed CO2 to replenish the carbon lost to naturally occurring carbon sinks.

CO2 as a bad thing is complete and utter rubbish, call me when it gets to 30,000 PPM in the atmosphere right now it is only 350 ppm.

Actually, the Coast Ranges get some snow almost every winter - just takes the right kind of cold Gulf of Alaska storm to produce it. It probably lasted longer back in Cabrillo's day, though.

Lasted longer because there was more of it and it was colder? How long does the snow last there? I remember one rare year as far south as below San Simeon where there was a decent layer of snow in the hills behind, even to build snow men. But it was a rare thing. Saw snow up on those hills (way south of Big Sur) a few times over the decades, but it was thin and didn't last long.

Apparently there's other evidence as well that the climate was quite a bit colder even as little as 500 years ago. This is an interesting look with interesting links.

Considering that 500 years is really an infinitessimally tiny sample of a graph in time where a million years is a small fraction, it's perfectly conceivable that starting tomorrow, we could go on a steep trend back down where indeed the Big Sur Coast regularly has snow, and where the many millions of people who live in California, and the many millions more who depend on the food grown in California, would suddenly find themselves in crucial need of things remedied by electricity and gas. Folks who are too dim to perceive that "saving the earth" is a quaint and primitive fantasy can be enlightened by the math to understand that it's okay to use the earth's resources in order to survive and thrive.

Anything and everything that happens on this planet is temporary.

Well, mankind had a whopping 4,000 years of real recorded history of organized civilization, so his influence is vastly established!!! ;^)

My resident hobby paleontologist reminds me that he's read where fossil evidence indicates that Neanderthal were successfully dominant for some 150,000 years. Meanwhile, fossil evidence of we homo sapiens barely covers a fraction of that! As far as I'm concerned, the best way to look at our place on the earth is to be stewards, as in keeping the land for our own and our posterity's ends, and to accept that the reality is that we're ONLY along for the ride.

Dead On Arrival: No consensus at climate summit despite ‘scare stories’

"The 18th Climate Change Summit in Doha is drawing to an end after once again failing to find common consensus on what it calls a major threat to human existence. Failure seemed inevitable after climate skeptic Lord Monckton crashed the event".
