Steph is great too. But Albert was known as having “THe left hand of God.” I have a large collection of 78s.

Willis Alan Ramsey (born March 5, 1951) is an American singer/songwriter, a cult legend among fans of Americana and Texas country. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Dallas, Texas. Ramsey graduated from Highland Park High School in 1969, and was a prominent baritone in the High School’s Lads and Lassies Choir. In his senior year, he played a leading role in the musical Carousel. He released the critically acclaimed album, Willis Alan Ramsey, in 1972 on the Shelter label. The album included “Muskrat Candlelight” which was covered twice as “Muskrat Love,” first by America in 1973, then by Captain & Tennille, who scored a #4 hit with the tune.

I am not often right but I was right with this one LOL

Thanks for posting. It pretty much says it all. Their album, which came out in the early 80’s was great. I believe this cut was on it.

Moonlight Serenade was our lead song in my HS Dance Band. We also played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teJfuKdzbOo which I always referred to as the Theme Song of WW II. They were all great, Harry James’s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1r6PCa6II0 was one of the coolest dance to numbers, there was lots of bumpin ugly’s music then which seems to have disappeared these days. Romance doesn’t seem to be in music anymore.

GREAT ALBUM! And frankly She Blinded Me With Science was not even nearly the best song on that.....’Airwaves’ was my favorite.

I think this one only counts as a “secret” because they’re not exactly mainstream. Dream Theater is one of my favorite bands.

Probably the greatest singer I've ever heard, that nobody outside of Poland knows.

My other Polish faves are Kasia Kowalska, Edyta Bartosiewicz, Wilki, Myslovitz, Lady Pank.....and of course, the one Polish singer at least some people will know...Basia.

Sweden’s music scene is, to me, pretty weird. On the one hand, they gave us lightweight pop like ABBA and Ace of base, on the other there seem to be quite a few death metal bands from Sweden as well.

And don’t forget Europe (no matter how much you want to). Or Yngwie.

Yeah, they’ve been out of the light for a few years.
Seems they’re doing new stuff these days.
